First of all, I’m proud to be a “white deplorable Christian” who campaigned and voted for Donald Trump.

Second, I take offense at being called ignorant just because I have an opinion that differs from that of Ken Chester (Journal, June 29). This doesn’t make me ignorant, it makes me well-informed about who I felt was the right candidate for the job.

The hate that Chester refers to is being created and fueled by the liberals who were so sure that their candidate was going to be elected that the outcome put them into a deep state of shock and disbelief. Unfortunately, they still cannot accept the fact that the voters chose the better candidate.

I am sorry he feels so much hatred, but he and the rest of the liberals are going to have to face reality. Donald Trump is, and will continue to be, our President.
