Where do we draw the line? Cars, dogs, guns, horses, pigs, kids – for the love of freedom, why should we worry about stuff on our neighbors’ property like old classic cars and other collectibles?
This issue came up years ago along with a plea for zoning and building codes. It was voted down because most people prefer freedom.
Visual pollution was said to diminish real estate values. Really? This county is 60% beautiful public land. Let’s enjoy and protect that and leave private land rights alone. How much government control do we really want here?
P.S. And let’s get rid of those ugly billboards and salvage yards coming into Cortez from the south. Just kidding. The wild west – I love it all. Let it be.
