Friday, Dec. 16

3:05 a.m.: A man was arrested in the 600 block of E. Main St. on suspicion of DUI, driving without lit headlights.

9:29 a.m.: A woman reported the theft of a Christmas globe decoration from her yard in the 500 block of W. Seventh St. She valued the globe at $200.

12:24 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of stealing a chain saw from Sears, 1 E. Main St., and of possessing meth and drug paraphernalia.

12:45 p.m.: Wal-Mart reported that a man and woman stole goods including a $12.82 cleaning set, an $88 Hot Wheels set, a $49 Ninja Turtles set, and a $20 remote-controlled toy car. Photos of suspects were supplied, and a driver was later stopped, but he didn’t fit the male suspect’s description.

1:12 p.m.: A man was arrested in the Wal-Mart parking lot, 1835 E. Main St., a day after he and another man had been suspected of shoplifting.

2:26 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant at Auto Zone, 1222 E. Main St., after he had allegedly been involved in a two-car crash. While the officer was at the Montezuma County jail, he served a warrant to a man who was already in custody.

7:37 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant at the water dock at 20 N. Park St. after he called in a welfare check of another man at the dock.

Saturday, Dec. 17

11:55 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and careless driving in the 500 block of E. Montezuma Ave.

10:03 p.m.: A man was served a warrant at the Montezuma County jail, 701 E. Driscoll St.

11:21 p.m.: A man was arrested in 700 block of E. Fourth St. on suspicion of DWAI and driving on the wrong side of the road.

1:26 a.m.: A man with six prior DUI and DWAI offenses was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI in the 700 block of N. Edith St. He also faces charges of weaving and failing to present proof of insurance.

1:04 p.m.: A man was cited on suspicion of stealing a $6.99 bag of walnuts at City Market, 508 E. Main St.

7:02 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of stealing a bottle of liquor from Liquid Assets, 718 E. Main St. he also was given a no-trespass order.

Sunday, Dec. 18

12:47 a.m.: A woman was arrested on a warrant at the Travel Lodge, 1120 E. Main St.

2:20 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant in the 700 block of Jordan Place.

11:30 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and weaving in the 300 block of E. Third St.

Monday, Dec. 19

6:03 p.m.: A woman reported a possible break-in at a home in the 400 block of N. Kansas Drive, where she has been tending to the jailed resident’s two dogs.

2:02 p.m.: A man was served a warrant at the Montezuma County jail, 701 E. Driscoll St.
