Wednesday, Feb. 8

1:26 a.m.: A man was arrested at National 9 Motel, 301 W. Main St., on suspicion of violating bond conditions. A woman was also arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace and being intoxicated in a roadway.

5:39 p.m.: A woman reported an incident of domestic violence and harassment in the parking lot of DaVita Dialysis, 610 E. Main St. She claimed her husband had approached her car, yelled threats, and had reached inside and pulled her hair. Police applied for an arrest warrant for the husband.

11:13 p.m.: A man was served with two failure to appear warrants at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Thursday, Feb. 9

12:55 a.m.: A man was arrested at City Market, 508 E. Main St., on a failure to appear warrant, after he called police to report the theft of his hat.

2:25 p.m.: A man was issued a summons on suspicion of possession of alcohol in Centennial Park, 800 E. Montezuma Ave.

3:04 p.m.: A man was arrested in Centennial Park, 800 E. Montezuma Ave., on a failure to appear warrant for a local misdemeanor.

5:15 p.m.: A woman was arrested in the 10 block of West Fourth Street on suspicion of a fifth DUI offense, driving under restraint as a habitual traffic offender and possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a vehicle.

5:22 p.m.: A man was arrested in City Park, 802 E. Main St., on a warrant issued after his wife accused him of domestic violence and harassment the previous day.

8:05 p.m.: A man was arrested at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., on suspicion of trespassing.

9:13 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a fight in the 700 block of South Madison Street. A man was transported to Southwest Memorial Hospital with minor injuries to the face, and claimed that four of his neighbors had beat him up. Two neighbors claimed the man had broken their window. But none of the parties wished to press charges, and the case was dropped.

Friday, Feb. 10

10:46 a.m.: A female juvenile was issued a summons for shoplifting at City Market, 508 E. Main St. Store employees claimed she had tried to walk out with two juice bags and two lighters, valued at $4.59 total. The items were recovered.

5:49 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 1400 block of North Mildred Road on suspicion of trespassing, after allegedly getting into a fight with another man on private property.

8:08 p.m.: A woman was arrested on a failure to appear warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Saturday, Feb. 11

1:05 a.m.: A woman was arrested in the 300 block of West Fourth Street on suspicion of DUI and weaving.

2:51 a.m.: A juvenile agreed to replace several mailboxes and four street signs he and some friends allegedly damaged in the 1500 block of Mesa Verde Street. The cost to replace the street signs was estimated at $70.

9:06 a.m.: A man reported a vehicle break-in in the 300 block of North Washington Street. Two rifles with scopes and slings, valued at a total of $2,700, were stolen from a locked pickup truck. The case remains under investigation.

11:29 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 400 block of South Cedar Street on suspicion of violating a protection order.

Sunday, Feb. 12

1 a.m.: A woman was arrested in the 200 block of South Harrison Street on suspicion of DUI and driving with a defective brake light.

5:43 a.m.: A man was arrested in the 600 block of East Fourth Street on a failure to appear warrant. The arresting officer briefly deployed a stun gun on his leg when he refused to get into the police car, but shut it off as soon as the man began to comply.

8:05 a.m.: A man reported a burglary in the 400 block of North Market Street. A window screen had been broken in the man’s residence, and his son reported his wallet and one of the household cats were missing. The wallet was later found on the ground outside the window. The case remains under investigation.

7:07 p.m.: Employees reported a shoplifting at Safeway, 1580 E. Main St. Three Valentine’s Day balloons, valued at $9.99 each, were stolen. The case remains under investigation.

10:43 p.m.: A woman reported a possible theft at the Fiesta Twin Movie Theater, 23 W. Main St. She claimed that she misplaced her cell phone at the theater, and someone else had come in to claim it. The case remains under investigation.

Monday, Feb. 13

2:43 a.m.: A man was arrested at Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road, on suspicion of trespassing after hospital staff claimed he had gone into the room of a patient he didn’t know and rubbed lotion on her arms. The man claimed he was trying to help cure the patient’s “contagious disease.”

10:25 a.m.: A man was arrested at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road, on a warrant for failure to appear.

1:35 p.m.: An officer assisted a Colorado State Patrol trooper with a DUI investigation with a Spanish-speaking suspect.

4:57 p.m.: A man was served with a failure to appear warrant for an out-of-county misdemeanor at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Tuesday, Feb. 14

1:13 a.m.: A man was arrested in the 500 block of South Chestnut Street on suspicion of violating a protection order.

9:51 a.m.: A man was arrested at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on a failure to appear warrant for a local misdemeanor.

10:45 a.m.: A woman was served with a warrant for failure to comply at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:11 a.m.: A man was arrested at Montezuma County Court on a warrant for failure to comply.

1:21 p.m.: A woman was arrested at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., on a warrant for failure to appear and on suspicion of shoplifting.

5:15 p.m.: A woman was arrested at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on a warrant for failure to appear.

8 p.m.: An employee reported a shoplifting incident at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St. A 40-inch LED Samsung TV, three cases of soda and a DVD player were stolen. The case remains under investigation.

9:25 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in the 600 block of North Elm Street.

10:16 p.m.: A woman was arrested in the 1000 block of East Second Street on a warrant for failure to appear.

10:23 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 500 block of East Third Street on two warrants for failure to comply.
