1:42 a.m.: Deputies responded to a report of a fight at Pearson Bracken Saloon and Grill, 1319 Railroad Ave., Dolores. Employees claimed five men had assaulted the bouncer after he told them to stop urinating in the parking lot. Due to a lack of video surveillance, responding deputies said they were unable to immediately determine the aggressor in the fight. The case remains under investigation.

Tuesday, May 23

4:53 p.m.: A man was served with a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

10:57 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 13000 block of County Road 28 on suspicion of violating a protection order.

11:50 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 17000 block of Colorado Highway 145 on an El Paso County warrant for failure to appear after he was pulled over for driving without illuminated license plate lights and weaving.

Wednesday, May 24

11:03 a.m.: A juvenile was issued a summons at Dolores High School, 1301 Central Ave., Dolores, on suspicion of illegal possession of a controlled substance by an underage person after school employees reportedly found chewing tobacco and a glass pipe that smelled like marijuana in his pocket.

4:27 p.m.: A man was remanded from Montezuma County District Court, 109 W. Main St.

6:01 p.m.: A woman was arrested at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Thursday, May 25

9:21 a.m.: A woman was served with a warrant for failure to appear at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:17 a.m.: A woman was served with a warrant for failure to comply at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

12:13 p.m.: A man was served with a warrant for failure to comply at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

3:33 p.m.: A woman was served with two warrants for failure to appear at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:03 p.m.: A woman was arrested in the 4000 block of U.S. Highway 160 on a warrant after she was pulled over for driving with a non-functioning brake light.

Friday, May 26

11:02 a.m.: A man was arrested at Montezuma County District Court, 109 W. Main St., on a warrant for failure to comply.

2:10 p.m.: A man was arrested at the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office, 730 E. Driscoll St., on a warrant for failure to comply.

3:28 p.m.: Deputies responded to a report of a break-in in the 37000 block of U.S. Highway 160. A homeowner claimed someone had broken into his property while he was wintering in Arizona. A window on the house and a latch on a storage shed door had both been broken, and swastikas had been painted on two sides of the house. The homeowner claimed that several vintage motorcycle parts, worth $12,000 total, had been stolen from the shed. The case remains under investigation.

4:12 p.m.: Deputies responded to a report of a dog at large in the 34000 block of U.S. Highway 184. A woman had made seven complaints about her neighbor’s dogs being on her property. Deputies were unable to serve a summons to the neighbor immediately.

4:24 p.m.: Deputies responded to a report of harassment in the 23000 block of County Road 12. A man reported that a neighbor had confronted two men in the area by blocking the road with his pickup, accusing them of spinning donuts with their vehicles on his driveway and threatening to shoot them if they ever entered his property again. When deputies asked the alleged victims about the incident, they refused to add anything to the report because they said they were afraid of retaliation from their neighbor. The case was closed due to a lack of evidence.
