Shindig with the Sheriff raises money for community programs

The annual Shindig with the Sheriff is 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at Farmington Elk’s Lodge, 801 N. Airport Drive.
This year’s shindig will feature dinner from Heavy Burgers, live music from Breezin’, dancing and a silent auction. The theme is “Grease,” and costumes are encouraged.
The shindig is hosted by the SJCSO Foundation and raises money for community outreach programs such as the reserve deputy program, Shop With Your Cops, Girls with GRIT, chaplains and more.
Tickets are $40 and may be purchased from any SJCSO Foundation board member or by calling (505) 334-7067.
