Saturday, March 12

12:39 a.m. An intoxicated man was arrested after he was reported for having a bow and arrow at the Bridge Emergency Shelter, 735 N. Park St. He was legally prohibited from drinking and possessing weapons and was issued a summons for the violations. He also was cited for criminal mischief.

4:37 a.m. A man was cited for criminal mischief after he reportedly threw a trash can at a man’s truck in the 600 block of East Main Street because it was too loud.

8:25 a.m. A man was arrested on outstanding warrants after he was pulled over on suspicion of speeding in the 1100 block of East Main Street.

4:51 p.m. A man reported that his laptop was stolen by women who asked to use his bathroom in the 600 block of South Washington Street. An officer was attempting to contact the women.

Sunday, March 13

11:46 a.m. A man reported that a generator worth $950 was stolen from his truck at the Holiday Inn Express, 2121 E. Main Ave. An officer was attempting to obtain surveillance footage of the incident.

6:17 p.m. An inmate was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

9:25 p.m. A man was cited for trespassing at the Speedway, 921 E. Main St. after an employee reported him for urinating on the side of the building.

10 p.m. A man was taken into custody on outstanding warrants in the 800 block of South Broadway.

Monday, March 14

8:11 a.m. A man was arrested for theft after he was pulled over while driving a car that matched the description of a recently reported stolen one in the 300 block of South Maple Street.

8:47 p.m. A man reported that $420 worth of items were stolen from his truck in the 400 block of South Cedar Street. There were no leads or suspects.

7:34 p.m. A previously known violent offender ran from officers at the Cozy Inn, 440 S. Broadway. An officer deployed his taser because the man was apparently reaching for his waistband and ignoring commands to stop. Meth and paraphernalia were found in his possession. He was arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession and distribution of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, obstructing a police officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tuesday, March 15

10:08 a.m. A man reported that his neighbor’s dog attacked his dog in the 700 block of East Fourth Street. An officer was unable to contact the attacker’s owner.

8:11 p.m. A woman reportedly sustained a broken hip after she was pushed down by a woman in the 200 block of West Second Street. No charges were pursued.

Wednesday, March 16

8:52 a.m. A woman was arrested on a warrant after she reported an unwanted person at her residence in the 500 block of South Madison Street.

9:23 p.m. A woman was arrested at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., on warrants for contributing to delinquency of a minor, second-degree assault and child abuse.

10:34 p.m. A woman was arrested on outstanding warrants at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

7:07 p.m. A woman was arrested on an outstanding homicide warrant at the Bridge Emergency Shelter, 735 N. Park St.

A previous version of this blotter incorrectly reported that a woman allegedly was assaulted in the 300 block of West Second Street. The correct location of the incident was in the 200 block of West Second Street.
