Southwest Colorado farmers who wish to participate in a biochar demonstration at no cost should email NPI at npiinc2000@aol.com with their contact information, an indication of their willingness to participate and how many acres of their farmland are available.
Biochar, inoculated with cultured soil microbes and added to soils in small amounts, will produce all plant nutrients needed for crops on a long-term basis with a single application using a biochar farm implement provided by NPI. Biochar in soils also greatly increases soil moisture, reducing the amount of irrigation water needed.
