This year’s Fa La La La Local event, hosted by the Cortez Retail Enhancement Association, is Thursday, 5 to 9 p.m. and will include shops across Cortez. Hours and specials vary by store.
The after-hours shopping tradition includes extended store hours, holiday sales, discounts, Cortez Cash Cards, store gift card giveaways and live performances by carolers and musicians.
Participating stores include Bitterblossom Games, ZU Gallery, The Station Boutique, Merriweather Home + Market, Love on a Hanger, Patina Trails Mercantile, Say Yes Bridal Boutique Cortez, From Our Heart Thrift Store, High Desert Life Outdoors & Exchange, Yellow Car Country Wines, Country With The Bounty, Montezuma Heritage Museum and Turquoise Raven Art Gallery.
“Make it a night to visit new places you haven’t been before and support all of the businesses,” CREA said.
CREA encourages shoppers to dine at restaurants and breweries during the event.
