When will Rep. Jeff Hurd vote in a way that will help his constituents? He met with the CEO of Southwest Memorial Hospital and was told how critical Medicaid is to our hospital and to all rural hospitals.
I know a lot of voters called or emailed him about this issue. He was one of 12 House members to sign a joint letter to House leadership opposing cuts to Medicaid. Still, he voted for the Big Ugly Bill, cutting Medicaid. Then recently, he voted to defund NPR, PBS and KSJD.
He should become a one-term representative.
