The Cortez Farmers Market will launch its 2025 season on Saturday, June 7, from 8 a.m. to noon at its new location in the Children’s Kiva Montessori Charter School parking lot at the corner of Empire Street and Mildred Road.
The market, which is hosted by the Cortez Retail Enhancement Association, will run every Saturday morning through October, offering fresh local produce, artisan goods, live music and family-friendly activities.
The market promises locally grown foods and unique vendors, encouraging community support for growers, makers and farmers. Visitors can also enjoy live music while exploring the market, which aims to foster a vibrant gathering space for Cortez residents and visitors alike.
To help make healthy food more accessible for all in the community, the market accepts debit, EBT/SNAP and Double Up Food Bucks through CREA’s partnership with the LiveWell Colorado Collaboration. CREA also urges attendees to shop and dine at local Cortez businesses during their time visiting the farmer’s market.
Special events and programs will be announced throughout the season.
