San Juan Mining & Reclamation Conference will host a fiction writing contest as part of its 11th annual conference. Submission deadline is Aug. 20.

Fiction entries should focus on the world of mining and reclamation, the world that made it and the world that is to be.

Entry is free. Story length should be 1,500 to 4,000 words.
