The Cortez chapter of the national weight-loss group Take Off Pounds Sensibly held its installation ceremony on Aug. 4.

According to a news release from Sandra Greene, the following officers were retained and installed: Greene, leader; Judy Echols, co-leader; Robyn Story, secretary; and Lillian Allen, treasurer.

Diane Townley was reappointed weight recorder, and Marjie Branson as assistant weight recorder.

The “Most Inspirational Award” went to Diane Townley.
