Tools and strategies for reinvestment and redevelopment of Brownfield properties

Region 9 Economic Development District and Community Builders and Kansas State University are hosting two workshops to provide information and tools for property cleanup, redevelopment and reinvestment of commercial properties. The workshop is Wednesday, Aug. 17 in Pagosa Springs from 8–11 a.m. and Durango from 2-5 p.m.

Workshops are aimed at business owners interested in assessing their properties, real estate agents selling possibly contaminated properties, bankers that need to finance such properties and governments. Brownfield commercial properties affected by real or perceived environmental contamination.
