‘This is the year for tax cheats’

Well, it appears that U.S. Rep. George Santos, former President Donald Trump and Allen Weisselberg have tax issues.

Weisselberg is going to jail for a short time. Now, the GOP wants to cut the IRS budget and not hire more agents. I wonder why? As former U.S. Speaker of the House John Boehner often said, “Are you kidding me?”

You have to give Weisselberg credit – he flipped on Trump Organization and Trump still has him on the payroll. The GOP under new House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is going to try to cut Social Security and Medicare, and the military budget.

Tax cheats will get caught but it takes time. This is the year for tax cheats to get their time in court, even when the GOP wants to cut the IRS budget. Remember, you pay for the cheaters. Trump paid zero taxes in 2020. What did you pay? If you voted for him, I guess it’s OK for you and your family.
