Friday, Nov. 8

8:25 p.m. A deputy stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 3300 block of U.S. Highway 160. The driver was given a summons for driving on a revoked license and a warning for speeding.

Monday, Nov. 11

2:32 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to investigate the reported sighting of a stolen RZR side-by-side in the 12700 block of U.S. Highway 491. Two men were at the home, and one of the men was arrested on suspicion of the theft and taken to the Sheriff’s Office for questioning.

4 p.m. A deputy was at mile marker 27 on U.S. Highway 160 when he stopped the driver of a Dodge pickup for speeding. The man had an active warrant. He was arrested and left in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center.

5:03 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to issue a warrant to a male inmate.

Tuesday, Nov. 12

12:01 a.m. A deputy met with a man involved in a dispute with his wife at the Maverick convenience store at U.S. Highway 160 and Colorado Highway 145. The deputy gave the man a list of agencies that might help with his wife’s drinking problem.

Thursday, Nov. 14

10:21 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to issue an active warrant to a male inmate.

11:57 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to issue two active warrants to a male inmate.

12:19 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to issue two active warrants to a male inmate.

12:20 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to issue three active warrants to a female inmate.

12:21 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to issue an active warrant to a male inmate.

Saturday, Nov. 16

1:14 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 1100 block of Railroad Avenue in Dolores about a complaint of harassment. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

1:41 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 13000 block of County Road 30.5 Loop near Dolores about an active fire. The deputy worked with neighbors who were dealing with a grass fire that had spread from one property to the other.

Sunday, Nov. 17

12:43 p.m. A deputy was called to the 25900 block of County Road T about a possible vehicle crash. The deputy assisted a man who had hit a tree. The man did not remember how it happened and appeared drowsy. The deputy handed off the investigation to the Colorado State Patrol.

Monday, Nov. 18

7:47 a.m. A deputy stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 22000 block of County Road S. The man was issued a summons for speeding, operating an uninsured vehicle and an expired license plate.
