5:39 p.m.: A deputy responded to Mesa Verde National Park, 34900 U.S. Hwy. 160, Mancos, for an agency assist on a traffic stop. Alcoholic beverage containers were found near the vehicle and rangers conducted a DUI investigation while the deputy provided officer safety.
3:58 a.m.: A deputy responded to Chevron Gas Station, 717 S. Broadway, Cortez, to assist Cortez police with a disturbance. A woman was located nearby and arrested by Cortez officers.
4:19 p.m.: A deputy responded to a residence on CO Highway 145, Dolores, for a cold vandalism report. Multiple classic cars had windows and windshields smashed with rocks, a chain, cinder blocks and a wooden pole, with an estimated loss over $30,000. No suspects.
11:11 a.m.: A deputy responded to a residence on East Empire Street, Cortez, for a trespassing and illegal camping report. A woman was later contacted inside a tent on the property, served a trespass notice and given 12 hours to remove her belongings and trash.
11:49 a.m.: A deputy responded to Elegant Hills Estates, 28330 Road K. 2, Cortez, for an unwanted person. A man was escorted off the property after allegedly refusing to leave and was arrested on suspicion of violation of a protection order.
4:12 p.m.: A deputy responded to a residence on U.S. Highway 160 East, Cortez, for a reported physical domestic disturbance between a man and woman. The man was identified but not located. The case was closed as unfounded.
4:57 p.m.: A deputy was dispatched for a phone call regarding a stolen real estate sign at a residence on Road 23, Cortez. The sign was determined to most likely have been in the county road easement, rather than the man’s property.
4:32 p.m.: A deputy responded to Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road, Cortez, for an evaluation on a woman suspected of driving under the influence of drugs after a hit-and-run report. She allegedly showed indicators of central nervous system depressant impairment.
7:08 p.m.: A deputy responded to Road 30 and Road L, Mancos, for a disturbance involving a vehicle that nearly ran an off-duty officer off the road. The juvenile male driver was arrested on suspicion of obstruction and was also cited for illegal possession of alcohol under 21 and other charges related to driving with a revoked license. Brass knuckles were also located in the vehicle.
3:06 p.m.: A deputy responded to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., Cortez, where a man turned himself in on a warrant.
8:41 a.m.: A deputy responded to a residence on Road M, Dolores, for property damage. A mailbox was run over with tire tracks and green/blue paint transfer left at the scene. No suspects.
1:56 p.m.: A deputy responded to a residence on North Seventh Street, Dolores, for a tipped trash can with trash spread in the alley. The homeowner was cited for failing to secure trash in a bear-resistant receptacle.
11:33 p.m.: A deputy responded to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., Cortez, for a man causing a commotion at the doors while holding a stick. The man allegedly became aggressive, advanced on officers and was turned over to Cortez police.
12:59 p.m.: A deputy responded to The Depot, 520 Railroad Ave., Dolores, for a cold traffic accident. A vehicle was backed into while improperly parked; information was exchanged with no citations issued.
