Saturday, May 14

7:19 p.m.: A female driver was pulled over in the 4000 block of U.S. 160 because of dirty license plates, and cited for displaying a fictitious license plate, driving while her license was under restraint and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Sunday, May 15

1:08 a.m.: A male driver was arrested in the 30,000 block of Colorado 184 on suspicion of weaving, and driving while his ability was impaired by alcohol or drugs.

8 p.m.: A woman looking for a lost dog reported that she found a bone near County Road E and U.S. 160, and Montezuma County Coroner George Deavers identified the bone as a human jawbone. No other human bones were found in the area, and the case was considered complete.

Monday, May 16

4:55 p.m.: A male driver was pulled over in the 3000 block of U.S. Highway 160 for a cracked windshield and given a summons for displaying expired license plates and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Tuesday, May 17

2:23 a.m.: A male driver was pulled over in the 11000 block of U.S. 491 and cited for driving 90 mph in a 65 mph zone.

4:58 p.m.: A male driver was pulled over in the 1000 block of U.S. Highway 160 and arrested on suspicion of driving while his license was revoke, and of being a habitual offender.

6:33 p.m.: A female driver was pulled over in the 26000 block of County Road M and given summons for driving 48 mph in a 40 mph zone and failing to present proof of insurance.

11:40 a.m.: A man was arrested on an active warrant in District Court, 109 W. Main St.

6:59 p.m.: Responding to a 911, deputies arrested a man in the 26700 block of County Road P on suspicion of obstructing a telephone call, violating a protection order, domestic violence and resisting arrest.

Wednesday, May 18

6:41 p.m.: A man was arrested on an active warrant in the 38200 block of Colorado Highway 184.

Thursday, May 19

3:27 a.m.: A male inmate at the Montezuma County jail was served a warrant from Atlanta.

7:37 p.m.: A male driver was arrested on an active warrant in the 4000 block of U.S. Highway 160 and given a warning for speeding.
