Wednesday, Dec. 20

11:30 a.m. A deputy served warrants to two men in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Friday, Dec. 22

3:09 p.m. A deputy took a report for a vehicle fire in the 3000 block of County Road 16, where a man’s ATV mysteriously caught fire when he was driving it.

5:46 p.m. A woman in the 22000 block of County Road F was arrested on suspicion of cruelty to animals, second degree trespassing, and theft of less than $300, after reports from a cab driver were made that a woman was refusing to exit the cab that was taken from a resident at the Aneth Lodge who had requested cab service.

Saturday, Dec. 23

9:54 a.m. A man reported trespassing on his private property and damaged property in the 16000 block of Road 22 when he noticed his dogs “going crazy” because a woman wearing overalls was running through his field and a white car was driving around his property that allegedly caused damaged to chains that were used to secure the gate to his property.

Wednesday, Dec. 27

5:56 p.m. A man in the 28000 block of U.S. Highway 491 was arrested on suspicion of DUI, second-degree assault and domestic violence.
