Tuesday, Mar. 7

4:24 p.m., Two dogs were threatening cattle in a pasture near the intersection of Road 29 and U.S. Highway 160. The woman who owned the cattle stood between the dogs and cattle until they tried to circle around to the other side. The women shot her rifle into the ground, scaring the dogs off. The man who owned the dogs got a call from a friend who stated the woman had killed the dogs. The man called the woman and made threats stating that if did not find his dogs alive he would kill her cattle. The woman declined to press charges against the man for his threats. About 5:45 p.m. the dogs returned home uninjured.

8:37 p.m., An officer served three failure to comply warrants to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Sunday, Mar. 12

3:22 p.m., An officer served a warrant to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E Driscoll St.
