Tuesday, Nov. 29

3:47 p.m., A report was made for a possibly stolen camper that was spotted in the 30000 block of Colorado Highway 184.

Wednesday, Nov. 30

2:28 p.m., A trailer was reported stolen from a worksite in the 14000 block of County Road 33 on Nov. 28.

Monday, Dec. 5

1:40 p.m., A report was made for the theft of $600 from a house in the 28300 block of Road K.2. The owner, who said he had let a man stay the night, suspected the man took the money.

Saturday, Dec. 10

10:12 a.m., A police officer called to a pawnshop in the 24000 block of Road G.2 returned a laptop computer to a man who provided evidence that he owned it. The pawnshop asked the officer to press charges against another man, who was suspected of illegally selling it to the shop.

Monday, Dec. 12

5:30 a.m., A car abandoned with its hazard lights on in the eastbound lane in the 30000 block of County Road L. The owner could not be found or contacted, and a tow was ordered.

7:15 a.m. An officer observed that an unlatched dumpster at the Outpost Motel, 1800 Central Ave. in Dolores, had been accessed by a black bear. The owner was issued summons on suspicion of violating Ordinance 530, Section 9.37, failure to secure/latch trash dumpster.

11:20 a.m., A woman requested assistance retrieving her belongings from her residence in the 14000 block of County Road 22. She requested this as on Sunday, Dec. 4 her husband reportedly broke all the windows of her car except for the windshield. An officer called him and advised him to turn himself in on suspicion of criminal mischief and domestic violence.

Tuesday, Dec. 13

12:54 p.m., Two men in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., were in a heated argument that escalated to a fist fight. About 20 minutes later they again engaged in a fight. Reportedly the first fight was instigated by a one of the men and the second was instigated by the other. Both men were issued summons on suspicion of third-degree assault.

3:02 p.m. A man turned himself in to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., for a larceny warrant.

Wednesday, Dec. 14

1:07 a.m., A woman reportedly slept in her truck on the side of the road in the 18000 block of Colorado Highway 145. She stated she had driven off the road and was stuck in the snow. She was issued summons on suspicion of drunken driving, careless driving and underage drinking.

Thursday, Dec. 15

1:23 a.m., During a security check in the 18000 block of County Road 25, a deputy found illegally dumped trash. The trash contained mail with a name and an address, but the subjects were not immediately contacted.

7:15 a.m., A man who was sleeping in his car in the parking lot of Pleasant View School, 15238 Road CC, was issued summons for trespassing and arrested for a warrant.

Friday, Dec. 16

3:03 p.m., An officer served a warrant to a person in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Sunday, Dec. 18

9:58 p.m., An arrest warrant was issued a man who allegedly harassed a person through text message. He was issued a restraining order that barred him from contacting the person.

Tuesday, Dec. 20

9:53 p.m., An officer observing an investigation in the 100 block of U.S. Highway 160 by a Colorado State Patrol officer assisted by transporting a woman who was arrested for a warrant to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
