Saturday, June 11

9:33 a.m. A man reported at the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office, 730 E. Driscoll St., that someone opened up a credit card account in his name while he was incarcerated. A sergeant requested that he use the case number to follow up with his bank.

Sunday, June 12

4:45 p.m. A man reported that someone slashed a woman’s car tires in the 30100 block of U.S. Highway 160. A sergeant planned to follow up with the woman on his next shift.

Tuesday, June 14

2:21 p.m. A man reported that another man attempted to assault him with a shovel over an irrigation dispute in the 23400 block of County Road M in Lewis. The man reportedly resisted arrest while being taken into custody on a warrant and for violating a protection order banning him from contacting the reporting man. The man was also issued summonses for menacing, first-degree criminal trespass, harassment and resisting arrest.

Wednesday, June 15

5:19 a.m. Woman reported that her house was broken into in the 6500 block of County Road 24. A deputy observed surveillance footage and was going to follow up with the case.

Thursday, June 16

9:15 a.m. Two neighbors had a dispute over land ownership in the 15400 block of County Road 25, in Dolores. A deputy advised that the men would need to take the case to civil court.

Sunday, June 19

9:07 p.m. A man was cited for violating the fire ban after he refused to extinguish a controlled trash burn in the 19000 block of County Road S.

Tuesday, June 21

8:33 a.m. A man reported that his son’s wallet was stolen from his car in the 7100 block of Road 25. There were no leads.

Wednesday, June 22

3:40 p.m. A man was issued a summons for violating the fire ban after he was reported for burning bedding in a barrel in the 23600 block of Road F.5.

5:38 p.m. A man was served three outstanding warrants at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:03 p.m. A deputy assisted a state trooper as he led a drinking and driving investigation in the 8000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

Thursday, June 23

5:30 a.m. A man was cited for speeding after he was pulled over in the 27900 block of Colorado Highway 184.

1:08 p.m. A deputy performed a welfare check on animals in the 32700 block of County Road P in Mancos and determined the animals to be fed, watered and in good health.

Friday, June 24

2:27 p.m. A deputy assisted a woman retrieve her truck keys from inside her horse trailer in the 32000 block of County Road W in Dolores.

6:44 p.m. A woman reported that someone hacked into her Amazon account and bought gift cards in the 200 block of North Eighth Street. There were no leads.

Saturday, June 25

12:27 a.m. A woman was served a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

7:17 p.m. A man was arrested and cited for domestic violence and harassment after a neighbor reported that he shoved a woman into a residence by her neck in the 100 block of North 16th Street in Dolores.

7:35 p.m. A man was cited for violating a fire ban after his trash burn got out of control in the 15300 block of County Road CC in Pleasant View.

9:21 p.m. A male inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., was cited for violating a protection order after attempting to contact a woman he was not legally allowed to contact.

Sunday, June 26

8:20 p.m. A rear-end accident occurred between a car and a semitrailer in the lower 100 block of East Mike Wash Road in Towaoc. No citation was issued.

Monday, June 27

11:39 a.m. A woman was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

2:12 p.m. A man reported that his neighbor shot at his house and damaged his window with a shotgun in the 19900 block of County Road 15 in Yellow Jacket. A deputy planned to follow up and get a statement from a neighbor.

2:13 p.m. A man was cited for allegedly violating a protection order after a fight between him and a protected party’s husband in the 30000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

6:37 p.m. A deputy issued a warrant request for a man after he allegedly violated a protection order that barred him from contacting a woman in the 10500 block of U.S. Highway 491.

Tuesday, June 28

6:07 a.m. A woman reported that someone broke the window to her car in the 28200 block of U.S. Highway 160. There were no leads.

12:30 p.m. A man turned himself in on two warrants at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

9:09 p.m. A woman was served a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

10:15 p.m. A deputy assisted a Mancos marshal’s deputy with a domestic violence investigation in the 300 block of East First Street, Mancos.
