6:31 a.m. A man reported that his neighbor stole his firewood in the 24900 block of Road T, Dolores. The man was attempting to provide a deputy with photo evidence.

Sunday, May 1

2:10 p.m. A woman reported that wind carried a controlled burn and burned a portion of her fence in the 12300 block of U.S. Highway 491.

10:24 p.m. A woman reported that her intoxicated ex-boyfriend was threatening her and her family over the phone in the 9600 block of Road G. A deputy attempted to contact him.

Monday, May 2

1:32 p.m. A woman reported that someone cut down her wind chimes down in the 1400 block of Central Avenue, Dolores. A deputy attempted to obtain surveillance footage of the incident.

Wednesday, May 4

3:42 a.m. A sergeant fired a rubber bullet at a bear because it was digging in a residential unsecured trash can in the 1200 block of Central Avenue, Dolores. The owner of the trash can was issued a summons for failing to secure it.

Saturday, May 7

12:09 a.m. Deputies responded to a report of domestic violence in the 12400 block of Road 29, Dolores. The woman involved dismissed the fight as a typical marital argument. No charges were pursued.

5:54 p.m. A man reported that a dog bit him on a Phil’s World bike trail, 30440 Road M.9.

6:59 p.m. A possible drunken driving crash occurred in the 23300 block of U.S. Highway 491. A Colorado State Patrol officer took over the case.

Monday, May 9

5:08 p.m. A man was taken into custody after multiple witness saw him arguing with his girlfriend on the side of the road in the 26000 block of U.S. Highway 491. He was issued summons for harassment, domestic violence and violating a protection order.

11:42 p.m. A woman was issued a summons for speeding in the 300 block of Railroad Avenue, Dolores.

Tuesday, May 10

7:29 p.m. A deputy responded to a report of domestic violence at Baymont Inn & Suites, 2279 Hawkins St. The report turned out to be unfounded.
