2 p.m. A woman reportedly resisted arrest after she left the scene of a car crash in the 300 block of North Broadway. Cortez Police Department took over the case.

Tuesday, March 29

12:35 p.m. Three female inmates were reportedly involved in a physical altercation at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. No charges were pursued.

Saturday, April 2

11:50 a.m. A woman reported that several items were stolen from her trailer in the 19100 block of Road 22 while she was on assignment in Washington, D.C., for the Air Force. There were no leads or suspects.

Sunday, April 3

3:26 a.m. A man was cited for not using required signals, drunken driving and driving without a license after he was pulled over for not using his turn signal and driving suspiciously in the 700 block of Railroad Avenue.

Tuesday, April 5

8:59 p.m. A man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant after he was pulled over for having a broken headlight in the 17000 block of U.S. Highway 491.

Wednesday, April 6

9:54 a.m. A woman was taken into custody on a warrant at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

4:24 p.m. A man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant after a deputy contacted him to serve civil paperwork in the 6400 block of Road 23.6.

8:31 p.m. A man was served five outstanding warrants at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Thursday, April 7

1:40 a.m. A woman was taken into custody for drunken driving in the 500 block of East Main Street.

2:44 a.m. A man was cited for possessing a controlled substance after he was caught with a two hypodermic needles, a throwing knife and possibly Fentanyl at Ute Mountain Casino, 3 Weeminuche Drive.

3:12 p.m. A deputy assisted a trooper as he took a man into custody for drunken driving and active arrest warrants in the 27500 block of U.S. Highway 160.

3:49 p.m. A man was served a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

4:18 p.m. A man was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Friday, April 8

8:23 p.m. An elderly woman rolled her car into an embankment in the 25000 block of U.S. Highway 491. She was taken to the Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road.

Monday, April 11

9:47 p.m. A man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant near Ute Mountain Casino, 3 Weeminuche Drive.
