Wednesday, March 2

6:08 a.m. There was a vehicle fire in the 10200 block of Road G. The owner of the van suspected that a family member started the fire. There were no other leads.

1:11 p.m. A group of people reportedly stole a storage vehicle license plate from Aces Storage, 7500 U.S. Highway 160, while a woman distracted an employee by having her credit checked.

10:04 p.m. A man reported that his neighbor filed a health risk complaint against him because of an outhouse he had on his property in the 36000 block of U.S. Highway 160. Photographs were reportedly including in the complaint, which led the man to believe that the photographer trespassed on his property. A deputy was attempting to contact the neighbor.

Monday, March 7

4:11 p.m. A man reported that his rifle was stolen from his vehicle in the 12400 block of Road 29. There were no leads.

Wednesday, March 9

5:17 p.m. A woman was issued a summons for third-degree assault after surveillance footage reportedly showed her assaulting a woman in intake at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

7:13 p.m. A man reported that he heard arguing and gunshots 11000 block of Road 20. His neighbors admitted to talking loudly but said there was no physical altercation or shooting.

Friday, March 11

9:18 a.m. A woman requested that her adult son be removed from her residence in the 38700 block of Road K.4. When deputies arrived, her son was willing to leave. He was given a courtesy ride.

1:42 p.m. A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend damaged and stole many items from her residence in the 42000 block of road J.75.

Saturday, March 12

12:41 p.m. A man was served an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:05 p.m. A woman attempted to turn herself in at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. Dispatch could not confirm her warrant, and she was not arrested.

Sunday, March 13

3:53 a.m. A deputy assisted a Colorado State Patrol officer take a driver into custody at the scene of a crash in the 22000 block of Road F.

7:43 a.m. A man was cited for driving with a restrained license after he was pulled over for running a red light in the 1200 block of East Main St.

9:20 a.m. A car crash occurred in the 11000 block of Road 25 after a woman who was reportedly blinded by the sun crashed into someone trying to turn right at a stop sign. A Colorado State Patrol officer took over the investigation.

10:33 a.m. A woman was cited for passing illegally on the left and driving with a restrained license after she was pulled over for using a turn lane to pass in the 700 block of Kansas St.

Monday, March 14

6:23 p.m. A man was cited for harassment after he reportedly shoved his roommate against the wall during an argument in the 14800 block of Road 31.

7:08 p.m. A woman reported possible domestic violence between a couple in the 17600 block of Road 27. A deputy found the case to be unfounded.

Tuesday, March 15

4:10 p.m. A man was cited for failing to show proof of insurance after he was pulled over for speeding in the 7000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

11:49 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Wednesday, March 16

9:47 a.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

11:07 a.m. A man was cited for failing to obey a traffic control device and having expired registration and no insurance after he ran a stop sign in the 7000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

11:41 p.m. A woman turned herself in at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Monday, March 21

9:51 p.m. A woman reported that her boyfriend stole her car after an argument in the 14500 block of Road 29. A sergeant was attempting to locate him.

Tuesday, March 22

4:48 p.m. A male inmate was served an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
