1:06 p.m. A woman reported that two guns were stolen from her home in the 14700 block of Road 40.2. The woman suggested a contractor she hired as a possible suspect. A deputy attempted to contact the contractor.

Tuesday, Feb. 15

4:14 p.m. A man was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Friday, Feb. 18

6:32 a.m. A man was cited for failing to provide proof of insurance and driving with expired registration after he was pulled over for a broken headlight in the 16000 block of Colorado Highway 491.

Saturday, Feb. 19

11:49 a.m. A man reported that a controlled burn spread out of control in the 14400 block of Road 26. The fire was extinguished, and no charges were pursued.

Sunday, Feb. 20

11:22 p.m. A woman was cited for having an out-of-control dog after her neighbor reported that the dog was aggressive and harassing her cattle in the 15400 block of Road 30.

Tuesday, Feb. 22

8:59 a.m. A man was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 10100 block of Road 40.9.

11:44 a.m. A man was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

3:44 p.m. A deputy assisted a corporal proctor as he arrested a man on suspicion of DUI in the 19300 block of Colorado Highway 145.

9:30 p.m. A man was served five outstanding warrants at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Wednesday, Feb. 23

9:13 a.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

9:20 a.m. A man and a woman were arrested on outstanding warrants at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:50 a.m. A woman was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

12:33 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

3:16 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

5:46 p.m. A couple was separated after reports of a verbal argument in the 6500 block of Road 24.

Thursday, Feb. 24

11:21 a.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after someone reported her for driving aggressively in the 7000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

6:42 p.m. A man was issued a summons for having an out-of-control dog after a woman reported that it had slipped under a fence and was being aggressive in the 27400 block of Road P.2.

8:38 p.m. A high-speed car chase occurred on U.S. Highway 160. The driver crashed the car in the 19000 block of Road G. Colorado State Patrol took over the investigation.

Friday, Feb. 25

11:49 a.m. A man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

12:16 p.m. A woman was reportedly bitten by a dog after she tried to break up a dogfight in the 30000 block of Road S.6.

7:56 p.m. A man reported that his mother was missing. She was apparently touring national parks and was stranded in a parking lot because of a snowstorm near Mesa Verde National Park. He had not heard from her since.

Saturday, Feb. 26

2:28 p.m. A woman was cited for driving with a restrained license after a sergeant pulled her over for running a stop sign in the 24000 block of Road G.2.

3:05 p.m. A man reported that his boss elbowed him in the face in the 30300 block of Road V.6. The boss told a deputy that the man was trying to force his way into the residence. No charges were pursued.

Sunday, Feb. 27

9:41 p.m. A couple were separated after they reportedly got in a verbal argument in the 18100 block of Road 25.

Tuesday, March 1

11:47 a.m. A man was remanded from the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.
