Thursday, Jan. 13

9:30 a.m. A man was served a restraining order from his wife at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. He was requesting a restraining order on his wife after reporting that she followed, harassed, and tried to block his car with hers in the 7700 block of County Road 26.5.

Saturday, Jan. 15

11:51 a.m. A woman reportedly suspected that her daughter was being held hostage by her father in the 10000 block of Road G. After the woman was reunited with her daughter, a deputy met with both women. The daughter apparently denied medical treatment.

Tuesday, Jan. 18

2:45 p.m. A woman was issued a summons for careless driving after she backed into another woman’s car in the lower 100 block of Central Avenue.

4:45 p.m. A man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant in the 19700 block of Road B.

Wednesday, Jan. 19

7:11 a.m. A man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

8:25 a.m. A woman turned herself in on outstanding warrants at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

4:37 p.m. A man was issued a warrant his girlfriend reported that he ripped off her license plate and strangled her in the 28300 block of Road K.2. The man was legally restrained from her, as well.

Thursday, Jan. 20

8:18 p.m. A woman was issued a trespass notice from Log Cabin Liquor at 201 E. Railroad Ave. after surveillance captured an altercation between her and the owner.

Friday, Jan. 21

2:48 p.m. A woman reported that her boyfriend broke her car window by throwing a hammer at it while she was trying to enter it in the 28300 block of Road K.2. The boyfriend was legally restrained from her, as well. Domestic violence was reported between the two later that night. The man was taken into custody on outstanding warrants for criminal mischief and domestic violence.

Saturday, Jan. 22

3:07 p.m. A man was issued a summons for drunken driving after a deputy pulled him over for speeding and swerving in the 37000 block of Colorado Highway 184.

Monday, Jan. 24

8:11 p.m. An inmate was charged with second-degree assault on a peace officer after she reportedly shoved and punched a detention deputy at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

9:39 p.m. A man was taken into custody after he turned himself in on an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Tuesday, Jan. 25

10:38 a.m. An inmate who was accused of punching a deputy the day before, was issued a summons for third-degree assault after surveillance showed her punching another inmate twice at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
