4:49 p.m. A man was taken into custody in the 25100 block of Road L after he texted a woman who he was legally restrained from contacting. He was issued a summons for violating a protection order.

9:10 a.m. A woman reported that her guest house’s door was kicked in in the 200 block of South Seventh Street. There were no leads.

3:25 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant in the 24100 block of Road G.

8:52 a.m. An inmate was issued a summons for third-degree assault after she entered another inmate’s cell and attacked her at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:54 a.m. Two people were arrested on warrants in the 24400 block of Road G.1.

7:13 p.m. An intoxicated man was taken into custody after he was pulled over for speeding in the 22000 block of Colorado Highway 184. He was issued summons for driving with impaired ability and weaving.

1:43 p.m. A deputy and a sergeant took a man into custody for his own safety after he was reported as an unwanted person in the 4200 block of U.S. Highway 160. The man was wearing minimal clothing in freezing temperatures and was extremely intoxicated. He was eventually released with warmer clothes and a blanket.

8:33 p.m. A man was taken into custody on six outstanding warrants in the 28200 block of U.S. Highway 160.

10:36 p.m. A man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant in the 9000 block of Road 27.

4:59 p.m. A woman was taken into custody after her boyfriend reported that she attacked him over a broken laundry basket in the 10700 block of Road 24.4. She was issued summons for third-degree assault, menacing and domestic violence.

6:18 p.m. A man was reportedly bitten by his step-sister’s dog in the 11700 block of Road 22. No charges were pressed.

6:48 p.m. An intoxicated man was taken into custody for violating a protection order banning him from drinking after he sought a place to stay at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

3:44 p.m. An inmate in the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., was issued summons for criminal mischief after he reportedly broke a window in the jail.

6:28 p.m. A man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant in the 600 block of East Empire Street.
