6:04 p.m. A man and woman allegedly stole multiple items from a property in the 2500 block of U.S. Highway 160. The investigation is ongoing.

Saturday, April 24

12:38 p.m. A hit-and-run crash was reported in the 12100 block of U.S. Highway 491.

Monday, April 26

10:26 a.m. A riding lawnmower was reported stolen in the 12400 block of County Road G.

7:05 p.m. A vehicle that was possibly stolen was impounded after a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Hawkins Street. The investigation is ongoing.

Wednesday, April 28

9:35 p.m. A DUI investigation was conducted in the 100 block of South Broadway. The man was released after a breath test indicated he was not intoxicated.

Saturday, May 1

10:45 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault after a physical altercation involving multiple people in the 30100 block of U.S. Highway 160.

Tuesday, May 4

2:40 p.m. A mountain bike was reported stolen in the 700 block of Central Avenue.

Friday, May 5

1:47 p.m. A spark from a power line transformer caused a brush fire in the 24300 block of County Road G.2. A man was involved in an altercation with a firefighter, punching the fire truck window and behaving in an aggressive manner, because he thought the firefighter was not doing enough to save his home. The man was later released.

Tuesday, May 11

12:14 p.m. A female inmate was served two warrants and another female inmate was served a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

6:21 p.m. Theft was reported and a man was arrested on three unrelated active warrants in the 12700 block of County Road 25.

Wednesday, May 12

11:44 a.m. A male inmate was served a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

5:12 p.m. A man was remanded into custody at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

11:25 p.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se and failure to turn on headlights in the 800 block of West Seventh Street.

Thursday, May 13

2:36 a.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, weaving and driving without a valid license in the 16000 block of Colorado Highway 145.

5:08 p.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant and cited on suspicion of driving with a revoked license in the 1100 block of Railroad Avenue, Dolores.

Friday, May 14

10:27 a.m. A trash pump was reported stolen in the 24100 block of County Road E.

Saturday, May 15

9:10 p.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant in the 300 block of North 15th Street.

Sunday, May 16

10:16 a.m. A man was cited on suspicion of throwing missiles at vehicles after throwing a spray paint can at a vehicle driving by in the 16900 block of U.S. Highway 491.

Monday, May 17

9:14 a.m. A woman was arrested on an active warrant in the 282000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

2:06 p.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

3:30 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was investigated in the 6900 block of County Road 24.2. The owner could not be contacted.
