Thursday, Nov. 233:08 p.m.: A man was issued a summons in the 25000 block of County Road M on suspicion of driving under restraint.

Friday, Nov. 24

12:36 a.m.: A man was arrested in the 24000 block of County Road G on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after he was pulled over for driving with an obscured license plate and windshield. A used hypodermic syringe and two small plastic bags of meth were reportedly found in the man’s pockets. Six more syringes and two bags of meth were found in his vehicle, along with an open can of beer.

3:08 p.m.: A female inmate was arrested at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on suspicion of introducing contraband after a cell phone was found in her cell. She reportedly claimed she had the phone in her bra the night she was arrested, but didn’t realize she had it because she was intoxicated. Afterward, she said she was “too scared” to report it.

11:06 p.m.: Deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 6000 block of County Road 24. A woman claimed she had started her vehicle and left it to warm up outside her house, and when she came back out, it was gone. Responding deputies saw a vehicle matching the description in the 24000 block of County Road F.5 shortly afterward and stopped it. The female driver reportedly claimed that someone had left the car out for her to use. The woman who called deputies said she knew the driver, but had not given her permission to use the vehicle. She reportedly refused to contact the owner of the vehicle to find out if he wanted to press charges, saying he was intoxicated at the time, and did not want to press charges herself. The other woman was released after returning the vehicle.

Monday, Nov. 27

1:31 p.m.: Deputies responded to a report of damaged property in the 18000 block of Colorado Highway 145. A man claimed a fake security camera on his property had been damaged. The case remains under investigation.

Tuesday, Nov. 28

11:54 a.m.: A man said that he was attacked by a fellow employee on Nov. 23 while on the toilet at his place of work in the 30000 block of Colorado Highway 184. According to the man, the alleged attacker hit him in the face with a hunting knife, fracturing his nose. He then held it to his throat, threatened to kill him, and knocked him down when he tried to stand up. He said that he did not immediately report the attack because he was afraid of losing his job, and that the alleged attacker has since been fired. The deputy said Southwest Memorial Hospital confirmed that the attacked man had visited the emergency room on Nov. 24
