Wednesday, April 13

5:46 p.m.: A woman at a residence in the 20300 block of County Road 21.5 reported the theft of four elk antlers valued at $60 each and two deer antlers valued at $30 each.

10:20 p.m.: A male driver in the 7000 block of U.S. 160 was arrested on an outstanding warrant and given warnings for driving with a defective headlamp and without a valid license.

Friday, April 15

4:33 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order in the 11200 block of U.S. 491, and his guns and bow were seized as evidence.

Saturday, April 16

11 a.m.: A deputy investigated an allegation of animal abuse at a residence in the 31100 block of County Road P, but attributed the horse’s condition to old age.

11:45 p.m.: A male driver was issued summonses at Colorado Highways 145 and 184 on suspicion of DUI and driving with defective headlamps.

9:53 p.m.: A deputy responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the 200 block of N. Eighth St. in Dolores and arrested a man on suspicion of violating a protection order.

Monday, April 18

3:32 p.m.: A man was issued a summons for false reporting after he claimed that a man who lived on his property, in the 13700 block of County Road 33, was attempting to steal firewood and a washer and two dryers from him.

7:50 p.m.: A deputy investigated a dog bite at Southwest Memorial Hospital, but the dog’s owner, who had been bitten, blamed himself for not allowing the dog to fully wake up from anesthesia.

Tuesday, April 19

3:13 p.m.: A deputy investigating an alleged theft of a tractor in the 22900 block of County Road D determined that a woman who had signed over a tractor to a man as payment for his labor had wrongfully taken it back. She was advised that the man could lawfully retrieve the tractor but that she could seek redress in civil court.

8:19 p.m.: A male driver in the 3000 block of U.S. 160 was pulled over and arrested for an outstanding warrant and issued a summons for speeding.

Thursday, April 21

10:19 a.m.: A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at a residence in the 11200 block of U.S. 491.

4:45 p.m.: A vehicle owned by an inmate at the Montezuma County jail was towed from the 500 block of Merritt Way in Dolores.

Friday, April 22

9:11 a.m.: A woman was arrested at Montezuma County Court on two outstanding warrants.

6:22 p.m.: A woman reported two broken garage windows and a damaged door – $390 in damage – at a residence in the 5600 block of U.S. 160/491.

Saturday, April 23

11:37 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and destruction of property after a disturbance involving three men at a residence in the 200 block of Railroad Ave. He was treated at Southwest Memorial. A second man received minor cuts on his face after an object was thrown through a window, spraying glass on him and the third man.

Sunday, April 24

10:10 p.m.: A female driver was pulled over in the 1200 block of N. Edith St. and arrested on an outstanding warrant in Durango.
