In response to Carol Bylsma’s letter of Jan. 5, yes, Carol, I am proud to be a patriot who loves God, free speech, the Second Amendment, the Constitution, and compassion and cares for those who believe in and support this great nation.

You call us under-educated with low skills and fear-filled white supremacists.

We are intelligent enough to know that you leftists are taking us into socialism and Marxism. Yes, we are fearful that you radicals will destroy this country.

Evidently, you smart people on the left are too ignorant of history to know that the Democrat party of the KKK, George Wallace era, were the original white supremacists.

As for the county and town government and school board – “good job” and keep up the good work.

I would also like to give a shout out to Cheryl Holdore, Tom Burnison, Fred Phelps and other conservatives for their great letters.
