Wednesday, Nov. 2

10:37 a.m.: A woman reported that her house and shed, in the 200 block of E. Third St., had been tagged with spray paint over the Halloween weekend. Damage was estimated at $2,000.

11:44 a.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road.

3:01 p.m.: A male driver was arrested on an active warrant after be stopped for an undisclosed reason.

6:10 p.m.: Two men were served warrants at the Montezuma County jail, 730 E. Driscoll St.

10:20 p.m.: A man was arrested for violating bond conditions after he refused to leave a former girlfriend’s residence in the 600 block of S. Washington St. He also was given a no-trespass order.

Thursday, Nov. 3

8:37 a.m.: A man reported that someone had hit his car with a bottle in the 2300 block of Tucker Lane.

9:13 a.m.: A woman was arrested on an active warrant at a residence in the 600 block of S. Washington St. a day after reporting a man for a public disturbance at the same address. He was arrested Nov. 2 on a warrant and given a no-trespass order.

3:18 p.m.: Johnson Physical Therapy reported the theft of cash at its building in the 1280 block of N. Mildred Road. Police reported no sign of forced entry.

9:03 p.m.: A male driver was pulled over after swerving in the 1800 block of E. Seventh St. and arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, failing to provide proof of insurance and weaving.

Friday, Nov. 4

4:30 p.m.: A man was arrested for trespassing at the Cortez Public Library, 202 N. Park St., after having been served a no-trespass order earlier in the day.

11:52 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant after a report of a prowler in the 200 block of S. Valley Road.

Saturday, Nov. 5

8:43 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant at the Montezuma County jail, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:01 p.m.: A driver was pulled over for an inoperable headlight in the 600 block of S. Broadway and cited for driving with a suspended license and the nonworking headlight. Her female passenger was arrested on a warrant.

11:35 p.m.: A resident was asked to leave a home in the 1300 block of Mesa Verde after the woman who rented the residence reported a broken window.

Sunday, Nov. 6

11:49 p.m.: A male driver was pulled over with a broken brake light cover at S. Ash and E. First St. and arrested for driving with a revoked license and a defective light.

2:30 a.m.: A male driver was cited for DUI, DUI per se and weaving and released in the custody of his mother after being pulled over in the 200 block of N. Broadway.

9:58 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant after turning himself in at the Montezuma County jail, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Monday, Nov. 7

1:29 p.m.: The First National Bank, 2258 E. Main St., turned in a counterfeit $100 bill, which it said had come from the Ute Mountain Ute Casino. Police planned to forward the bill to the U.S. Secret Service.

4:34 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant at the Montezuma County jail, 730 E. Driscoll St.

10:08 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 300 block of W. Third St. for being intoxicated in the roadway.

Tuesday, Nov. 8

9:27 a.m.: A woman was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road.

12:52 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road.

4:55 p.m.: A bicycle was found in the 100 block of E. North St. and confiscated by police.
