Wednesday, April 15

10:22 a.m.: An officer patrolling an alley behind the Pinon Project, 210 E. Main St., contacted a man known to have a warrant and confirmed it through dispatch. The man was arrested on suspicion of a warrant.

Friday, April 17

7 a.m.: An officer responded to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve a warrant on a man.

11:51 a.m.: An officer at Speedy Wash, 1215 E. Main St., contacted a woman with a warrant; she was found in possession of suspected methamphetamine and was arrested on suspicion of a warrant and issued a citation for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

8:43 p.m.: An officer responded to Cortez Apartments, 620 E. Empire St., for a disturbance and found a woman with injuries and property damage. A man was later located and arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault, criminal mischief, protection order violation (alcohol) and domestic violence-related offenses.

Saturday, April 18

12:41 a.m.: An officer conducted a traffic stop at Webb Chevrolet, 127 N. Broadway, after observing a vehicle swerving. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI and weaving.

1:42 p.m.: An officer at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., contacted a man turning himself in on warrants.

4:24 p.m.: An officer conducted a traffic stop in the City Market parking lot, 508 E. Main St., after observing a vehicle with expired registration. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI, prohibited use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance less than 4 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to display valid registration.

Sunday, April 19

5:01 p.m.: An officer responded to Prairie Mesa Estates, 650 E. Second St., for a report of a man yelling near children and possibly preparing to drive. The man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a protection order.

7:28 p.m.: An officer responded to Lemon Tree Apartments, 35 S. Ash St., for a reported attempted break-in and contacted a man showing signs of intoxication. A man was found to be in violation of a protection order (alcohol) and arrested on suspicion of violation of a protection order.

Sunday, April 19

9:40 p.m.: An officer responded to a disturbance at a residence on South Valley Road and contacted two men. One had visible injuries and both had reportedly been drinking, and one man was arrested on suspicion of a warrant.

Monday, April 20

1:25 p.m.: An officer responded to Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., where a man in custody had a warrant. He was arrested.

11:20 p.m.: An officer responded to Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., for a report of a man throwing a rock through a vehicle windshield. He was located nearby and arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and trespassing.

Tuesday, April 21

10:20 a.m.: An officer responded to Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., to arrest a woman with a warrant.

Wednesday, April 22

9:23 p.m.: An officer responded to Super 8 Motel, 505 E. Main St., for a reported disturbance. No charges were filed related to the incident, but a man on scene was arrested on suspicion of the warrant.
