8:14 p.m.: An officer responded near the intersection of U.S. Highways 160 and 491 for a reported physical altercation in a vehicle. The driver was found bleeding from the head and mouth after being assaulted by the front-seat passenger (her daughter), who had allegedly kicked, punched, bitten and attempted to strangle her. The passenger was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault, third-degree assault and menacing.
6:05 p.m.: Officers responded to the Super 8 Motel, 505 E. Main St., for reported screaming from a room. A man was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment, child abuse, harassment (domestic violence) and resisting arrest after refusing to let a woman and juvenile female leave the room.
11:54 p.m.: An officer responded to Rust Trailer Park, 641 S. Broadway, for a domestic disturbance. A woman outside had blood on her lip and reported being punched and restrained by a man inside the trailer. The man was cited with third-degree assault.
10 a.m.: An officer responded to City Market, 508 E. Main St., regarding a previously banned man on the property. The man was located nearby and cited with trespassing.
1:15 p.m.: An officer responded to the Chevron Gas Station, 717 S. Broadway, for a shoplifting report. A man was contacted after allegedly taking two beers without payment. He was cited with shoplifting and banned from the location. 2600
4:23 p.m.: Officers responded to Liquid Assets, 718 E. Main St., for a reported fight between two men. One man pushed the other to the ground, causing a bruise and lacerations. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of harassment, and the victim was arrested on an unrelated warrant.
4:25 p.m.: Officers responded to Mountain View Trailer Park, 815 S. Chestnut St., for a domestic disturbance. A woman threw soda at a man's vehicle, and he allegedly blocked her departure. The woman was arrested on suspicion of harassment, domestic violence and violation of a protection order. The man was arrested on suspicion of harassment and domestic violence.
8:42 p.m.: An officer assisted with a traffic stop at Family Dollar, 324 S. Broadway, for a nonfunctioning headlight. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI, no headlight and no proof of insurance. He was released to his father.
9:37 p.m.: An officer responded to Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., for a trespass report. A previously banned woman was contacted after leaving the store and was cited with trespassing.
8:30 a.m.: An officer on patrol observed a vehicle partially blocking an alley between South Chestnut Street and South Elm Street. The driver was found slumped over with drug paraphernalia and suspected meth in the vehicle. He was cited with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and open marijuana container in a vehicle.
1:36 p.m.: An officer responded to the Duck Pond, 515 N. Mildred Road., for reports of an intoxicated man yelling at children. The man, who was banned from city parks, was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.
2:34 p.m.: An officer contacted two people at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., both banned from city parks. The woman was arrested on suspicion of protection order violation (alcohol) and trespassing. A man was also arrested.
10:09 p.m.: An officer responded to Lakeside Lanes, 410 Lakeside Dr., regarding a possible 911 call. Drug paraphernalia and suspected meth were observed in the vehicle. The two occupants were was cited with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
11:53 p.m.: An officer responded to Speedway, 2021 E. Main St., for shoplifting. A man took two alcoholic beverages, was contacted nearby and was cited with shoplifting. He was issued a never-expiring ban. 2
11:53 p.m.: An officer observed a vehicle weaving and conducted a traffic stop on East Main Street. The driver arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, revoked license, uninsured vehicle, weaving and open container.
12:53 p.m.: An officer observed a man lying on the sidewalk in front of Front Row Seat, 610 E. Main St. He became aggressive, interfered with paperwork and was arrested on suspicion of interfering with an officer.
1:54 p.m.: An officer responded to the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., and arrested a man on a warrant after his court appearance.
6:05 p.m.: Officers responded to a residence on Lakeside Drive to enforce a ban. A man was arrested for trespassing.
6:14 p.m.: An officer responded to Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road, for an assault and theft report. A man was allegedly assaulted from behind in a park, suffering a knee injury and his electric bicycle was stolen. The suspect fled but was later located and arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault, aggravated robbery and theft.
6:42 p.m.: Officers responded near Mesa Park Apartments, 880 S. Chestnut St., for a domestic violence report. A man allegedly restrained a woman in a vehicle, violated protection orders by consuming alcohol and resisted arrest. He was arrested on suspicion of protection order violation, false imprisonment, obstructing a peace officer, resisting arrest and domestic violence.
1:48 p.m.: An officer responded to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., and served a woman with a warrant.
