Thursday, June 1

1:32 a.m. A man in the 1100 block of Lebanon Road was cited with theft and trespassing.

5:21 a.m. A man in the 1500 block of MacArthur Drive noticed many tools were missing from the bed of his truck.

10:49 a.m. A woman in the 1100 block of Lebanon Road noticed a winch was missing. The winch was cut from a trailer and weighs 300 pounds. The estimated of the missing winch and damages is $6,000.

2:50 p.m. A man in the 1600 block of East Main Street was seen huffing from an air duster by an officer and ran away. The man was arrested on suspicion of abuse of toxic vapors, obstruction and criminal possession of a debit card. A bottle of gas and a debit belonging to someone else was found on the man during the arrest.

9:50 p.m. A woman turned herself over to the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center on two warrants.

Friday, June 2

8:36 a.m. A woman in the Seventh Street Mobile Home Park, 600 S. Washington St., noticed $2,000 missing. The woman had the money in a black bag that she kept in a flower pot.

2:37 p.m. An intoxicated women at the Sleeping Ute Apartments, 516 S. Madison St., was yelling and slamming things. The woman’s brother would not let her stay the night and had to force her out of his home. The woman was arrested on three warrants and on suspicion of harassment.

Saturday, June 3

12:02 a.m. A man driving erratically in a company truck was found in a field at the end of Beech Street. The truck appeared stuck in the field an could not move. The man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and prohibited use of a weapon.

1:11 a.m. A man walking in the 100 block of South Broadway was cited with trespassing at Handy Mart, 806 S. Broadway. The man left his dog at Jiffy Lube, 720 S. Broadway, and an officer took the dog to an animal shelter.

1:37 p.m. A man yelling in front of Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., was cited with trespassing.

7:39 p.m. A man allegedly took a car from the Cork ’N’ Bottle parking lot, 443 E. Main St. The man was blocked off by a vehicle in the 900 block of South Oak street and was pinned to the ground by the car owner’s brother. The man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and aggravated vehicle theft.

11:12 p.m. A man in the 1000 block of East Main Street was arrested on a warrant.

Sunday, June 4

1:13 a.m. A woman driving in the wrong lane in the 100 block of North Broadway was pulled over in the 500 block of North Broadway. The woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, possessing an open container in a vehicle and driving on the wrong side of a divided highway.

9:37 a.m. A man going in and out of traffic in the intersection of Silgo Street and East Main Street was seen by an officer in the Walmart parking lot, 1835 E. Main St. An officer who had familiarity with the man attempted to communicate via notes as the man is deaf. The man was only able to write a couple notes before he stopped. Physical and behavioral signs led the officer to believe the man was under the influence of illegal substance. The man became increasingly upset until he started screaming at people and the officer arrested him. The man was cited with suspicion of criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful use of a controlled substance.

1:16 p.m. A woman who was throwing trash out of her vehicle was found at Family Dollar, 324 S. Broadway. The woman was cited with driving without a license, possessing an open container and underage consumption.

1:57 p.m. A man who allegedly took a box of ammunition from Big R was cited with shoplifting. The ammunition was not recovered and is valued at $451.95.

7:09 p.m. A man in the 1600 block of E. Downey Street took a gas can from yard. The man was issued summons on suspicion of theft and trespassing.

Monday, June 5

8:15 a.m. A dog got into a chicken coop in the 1200 block of Cottonwood Street and killed three chickens. The dog’s owners in the 1200 block of Melrose Street were cited with maintenance of animals that disturb the peace and running at large.

11:09 a.m. A man sleeping on the back step of a business in the lower 100 block of North Harrison street was cited with trespassing.

12:13 p.m. A man at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., was arrested on a warrant.

12:55 p.m. Three men at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., were seen by an officer drinking. All three men were barred from all parks for the day. One of the men was arrested on a warrant and cited with criminal possession of a financial device.

2:04 p.m. A woman in the 1600 block of Velma Street was arrested on a warrant.

10:03 p.m. A man at Speedway, 900 block of E. Main St., was cited with trespassing.

Tuesday, June 6

8:30 a.m. An abandoned vehicle in the 700 block of Stratton Drive was towed.

9 a.m. A man was contacted by a friend, who told him his house in the 500 block of South Oak Street had three broken windows.

9:03 a.m. An officer served two warrants to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

12:41 p.m. A man took a game console from Aaron’s Rentals, 1620 E. Main St. The console is valued at $709.99.

3:22 p.m. A man at Veteran’s Park, 830 E. Montezuma Ave., was arrested on warrant.

11:06 p.m. A man in the 700 block of East Main Street was arrested on a warrant.

Wednesday, June 7

6:34 a.m. A man noticed his vehicle was gone from his driveway. The man thinks multiple people took his vehicle.

11:32 a.m. A woman tried to enter multiple vehicles in the Keesee Motors parking lot, 111 S. Broadway. The woman harassed employees and stood in the median on Broadway to yell. While being checked by medics, the woman attempted to fight a man. The woman was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace.

3:57 p.m. A man at Handy Mart, 806 S. Broadway, was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order, resisting arrest and public indecency.

8:27 p.m. Two men got into a physical fight at Dolores State Bank, 744 E. Main St. One man was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order.
