Thursday, May 11

12:44 a.m. A man in the parking lot of Speedway, 921 E. Main St., was arrested on two warrants.

8:33 p.m. A woman with a warrant turned herself over the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Friday, May 12

1:48 a.m. A man driving a truck 86 mph passed an officer near the intersection of West Seventh Street and South Broadway. The man was pulled over in the 500 block of North Broadway and was arrested on suspicion of speeding, driving without insurance, driving under the influence, reckless driving, running a red light, possessing an open container and reckless endangerment.

6:58 a.m. An employee of Truwest Auto Dealership, 333 S. Broadway, found that the gate had been run over and the washroom bay door was open. Two cars were damaged, eight cars were missing, and two cars were recovered. One of the cars recovered was found at Mesa Elementary, 703 W. Seventh St., and the other was found in the 22000 block of County Road G. Five sets of keys were also missing

11:38 a.m. An officer served a warrant to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

2:22 p.m. An officer served a warrant to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

7:41 p.m. A man riding a stolen motorcycle without eye protection was pulled over in the 900 block of North Dolores Road. The man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle theft, driving without a license and driving without insurance.

11:03 p.m. A man punched another man in the face, and they started fighting at Burger Boy, 400 E. Main St., The man who punched first was arrested on suspicion of assault.

Saturday, May 13

1:24 a.m. A man in the 100 block of South Elm Street was pulled over for expired tags and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, violation of a protection order and driving without valid tags.

10:22 a.m. A man in the 800 block of South Broadway noticed a alternator had been cut out of a forklift.

Sunday, May 14

1:54 a.m. A man unable to pay for his meal at Denny’s, 2059 E. Main St., was issued summons suspicion of theft. The meals total value was $27.

2:05 p.m. A man who punched a woman in the face multiple times at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., was arrested on suspicion of assault.

2:10 p.m. A man at Sundance RV Park, 815 E. Main St., turned over a purse he found.

2:58 p.m. An intoxicated man laying in front of Front Row Seats, 610 E. Main St., was arrested on a warrant.

10:24 p.m. A man at Holiday Inn Express, 2121 E. Main St., was arrested on a warrant.

11:05 p.m. A woman in the 200 block of East Seventh Street was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order that has alcohol restrictions.

Monday, May 15

4:10 a.m. A man who had been sitting at the counter in Denny’s, 2059 E. Main St., for 24 hours ordered food and was unable to pay for it. The man was cited with theft.

8:16 a.m. man in the 500 block of South Linden Street noticed his wallet and two training swords had gone missing from his unlocked car.

11:31 a.m. A woman with a warrant turned herself over the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

12:08 p.m. A man in the 200 block of South Sligo Street was arrested on a warrant.

2:39 p.m. A woman yelling and swearing at people in the parking lot of Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., was cited with suspicion of trespassing.

3:01 p.m. A woman left her purse in her car when she went into the Chevron Gas Station, 717 S. Broadway, and when she returned her purse was gone. The purse contained to smartphones, $300 cash, a credit card and a driver's license.

6:19 p.m. A man stopped sideways in the roadway of the 900 block of South Broadway was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving without a license and driving without insurance.

11:07 p.m. A man by a dumpster behind Safeway, 1580 E. Main St., was cited with violating a protection order with alcohol restrictions.

Tuesday, May 16

1:08 p.m. A man at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., was arrested on a warrant.

1:16 p.m. A woman in the 600 block of North Park Street who was fighting with a man she was restricted from contacting was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order.

10:48 p.m. A man who ran a stop sign at the intersection of West Seventh Street and South Oak Street almost hit a patrol vehicle in the intersection. The man drove off and pulled over in 500 block of South Maple Street. The man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, running a stop sign and failure to use a turn signal.

Wednesday, May 17

10:05 a.m. An officer served a warrant to a woman in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

10:30 a.m. An officer served three warrants to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:58 a.m. An officer served a warrant to a woman in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

4:20 p.m. A man at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., was arrested on a warrant.

7:35 p.m. A woman at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order with alcohol restrictions.

10:14 p.m. A man at Speedway, 921 E. Main St., was trespassed from the property and was arrested on suspicion of underage drinking and violating a protection order with alcohol restrictions.
