Thursday, Nov. 17

1:21 a.m., A report of a man with a warrant near Walmart, 1835 E Main St., prompted a search in the area where an officer spotted a vehicle know to be the man’s. The officer followed the vehicle to the 1100 block of East Main Street, pulled it over and arrested the wanted man inside.

11:55 a.m., A man sleeping in front of an abandoned building, 610 E Main St., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

12:55 p.m., A man was reported to have taken a debit card that did not belong to him and used it to purchase $269.31 of product from High View, 43 E. Main St.

3:34 p.m., A man was issued summons on suspicion of trespassing at Parque de Vida, 400 N. Mildred Road.

3:39 p.m., A car collided head-on with a car in the intersection of Garrison Drive and Aldridge Road.

4:14 p.m., A man walking north on North Mildred Road near its intersection with East Empire Street was arrested for a felony warrant.

4:32 p.m., A man at Centennial Park, 800 E. Montezuma Ave., who has been trespassed from all parks was reported yelling obscenities. When police arrested him on suspicion of trespassing they found an empty bottle of vodka up his sleeve. He was issued summons on suspicion of possessing an open container, disturbing the peace and trespass.

5:17 p.m., A woman was trespassed from Calkins Commons, 121 E. First St. She was issued the trespass notice while at Wendy’s, 221 E. Main St. and was arrested for multiple warrants.

5:45 p.m., A man driving down Mildred Road turned left onto Montezuma Avenue and struck a car in the intersection. He was cited on suspicion of failing to yield and driving with an expired license.

11:26 p.m., A man was arrested at Wendy’s, 221 E. Main St., on two warrants for failure to appear.

Friday, Nov. 18

2:50 a.m., A man called the police on himself near the intersection of Seventh and Oak streets for a warrant.

6:40 a.m., An officer served someone a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Saturday, Nov. 19

9:38 a.m., Two men were reported in an argument at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., when one allegedly punched the other in the jaw. He was cited on suspicion of assault.

1:10 p.m., A man was arrested on suspicion of robbery for shoving a woman to the ground while snatching her purse near the intersection of North Mildred Road and East Main Street.

Sunday, Nov. 20

4:23 p.m., A man was cited on suspicion of trespassing at Speedway, 921 E. Main St.

5:05 p.m., A car with a manual transmission popped out of gear and rolled into another car in the Walmart parking lot, 1835 E. Main St.

Monday, Nov. 21

12:35 p.m., An officer arrested someone at the Montezuma County Court for a warrant.

3:23 p.m., A car that was abandoned for more than 72 hours was towed.

3:41 p.m., A report was filed for a stolen phone that was taken from a car in the back parking lot of Dollar Tree, 215 S. Silgo St., within the past two days.

4:27 p.m., A man was arrested at the Romans Apartments, 307 W. Montezuma Ave., for two warrants.

4:48 p.m., A car struck the passenger side of a car in the intersection of North Maple Street and North Pinon Drive.

6:51 p.m., A man was issued summons on suspicion of violating a permanent trespass order for a residence in Happy Valley Trailer Park, 203 E. Seventh St.

9:24 p.m., An officer found that a bathroom in Parque de Vida, 400 N. Mildred Road, had many of its fixtures painted red with spray paint.

Tuesday, Nov. 22

4:55 a.m., A report was filed for a car break- in where a wallet was taken in the 1200 block of Melrose Street.

10:45 a.m., A report was made for someone marking a wood fence post with black marker in the 700 block of East Second Street.

11:08 a.m., Two possibly related car break-ins were reported, one for the 1400 block of Mesa Verda Street, where a purse with a wallet was taken, and one for the 1300 block of Melrose Street, where a 9 mm pistol was taken.

1:39 p.m., Someone broke several windows for a house in the 400 block of South Linden Street.

10:28 p.m., A man was arrested in the 1000 block of Alma Avenue on suspicion of felony menacing, carrying a concealed weapon, prohibited use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Wednesday, Nov. 23

3:55 p.m., A man was arrested in the lower 100 block of South Broadway on suspicion of drunken driving.

4:57 p.m., A man was cited on suspicion of violating a trespass order at City Market, 508 E. Main St.

10:27 p.m., A man was arrested in the 900 block of South Broadway on suspicion of drunken driving.

Thursday, Nov. 24

8:26 p.m., A report was made for the theft of a bike from a garage that was forced open in the 200 block of South Madison St.

Friday, Nov. 25

4:09 p.m., Three people were reported in fight in the 200 block of East Second Street. One of them was drunk and was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order that prevents him from possessing or drinking alcohol.

7:48 p.m., A man was arrested near the intersection of South Madison Street and East Fourth Street on suspicion of violating a protection order that prevents him from possessing or drinking alcohol.

8:07 p.m., Two men were requested by City Market, 508 E. Main St., to be removed from the store. One was issued a 24-hour trespass order, and the other was arrested on suspicion of violating a trespass order and indecent exposure for urinating in the roadway during his arrest.

10:53 p.m., A man reported kicking doors and shouting outside a residence at the Happy Valley Trailer Park, 203 E. Seventh St., was arrested at Dolores State Bank, 744 E. Main St., on suspicion of disturbing the peace.

Sunday, Nov. 27

1:04 p.m., A woman was trespassed from City Market, 508 E. Main St., and cited on suspicion of shoplifting from the store.

Monday, Nov. 28

9:45 a.m., A report was made for a stolen solar panel, wiring, inverter and batteries from the 700 block of South Chestnut Street.

1:03 p.m. A car that was abandoned for more than 72 hours was towed from the 900 block of Garrison Drive.

2:25 p.m., A man turned himself into the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., for a warrant.

9:15 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of trespassing at Holiday Inn, 2121 E. Main St.

Tuesday, Nov. 29

1:28 p.m. A man was seen by an officer putting a bag chips and a can of pasta in his jacket at City Market, 508 E. Main St. He was recently trespassed from the City Market. The officer arrested him on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer, theft and third degree criminal trespass

8:21 p.m. An officer served five warrants to someone in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

8:38 p.m., A woman driving a car south in the 900 block of Barrett Street was following a car when it slowed down and began to slide on the ice. The woman attempted to slow down to avoid hitting the sliding car and was rear-ended by another car. The car that rear-ended the woman’s car bounced off her car and into the retaining wall nearby. No one on scene needed medical attention at the time of the report.

10:22 p.m., A man was reported to have attempted to leave Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., with two bottles of hair spray without paying. He was cited on suspicion of trespassing and shoplifting.

Wednesday, Nov. 30

8:24 a.m., A woman who rear-ended a car at the intersection of North Mildred Road and East Empire Street was arrested for a warrant. She was also cited on suspicion of careless driving and driving an uninsured car.

11:59 a.m., A man was reported to have taken a bag of tools from car that was parked in Oak Meadow Trailer park, 405 W. Seventh St. He was arrested on suspicion of first-degree criminal trespass, obstructing a peace officer, resisting arrest and theft. He given permanent trespass order for the trailer park. The total estimated value of the stolen bag was $160.
