6:14 a.m. A man reported that he drove into a deer in the 2300 block of East Main Street.

11:54 a.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after he showed up intoxicated at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

4:38 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Friday, April 29

11:29 a.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding Montrose warrant in the 500 block of East Main Street. He was released because Montrose officials would not extradite him.

9:05 p.m. Two masked juveniles were shown on security surveillance stealing two bikes from a residence in the 200 block of East Forth Street. There were no further leads.

3:38 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 800 block of South Mildred.

Saturday, April 30

3:07 p.m. An employee reported that a woman walked out on her tab at Ute Coffee Shop, 17 S. Broadway. An officer did not find her.

6:46 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after he was reportedly involved in a fight at Parque de Vida, 515 N. Mildred Road. He was cited for resisting officers during booking.

7:54 p.m. A woman reported that someone shot through her trailer windows with a sling shot in the 400 block of West Seventh Street. There were no leads.

Sunday, May 1

4:16 a.m. An employee reported that someone broke a window at McDonald’s, 1322 E. Main St. There were no leads or suspects.

7:58 a.m. A woman reported that a man tried to enter her property in the lower 100 block of North Maple Street. The man was trespassed, then arrested on an outstanding warrant.

12:32 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 500 block of East Main Street. Meth, alcohol, paraphernalia and knives were found on him. He was cited for possession of an illegal substance and violating a protection order banning him from possessing drugs or alcohol.

2:06 p.m. A couple reported that their motor home was broken into in the 300 block of South Broadway. There were no leads.

2:57 p.m. A woman reported that a woman she knew stole her purse in the 200 block of West Main Street. An officer attempted to contact the apparent suspect.

8:30 p.m. A woman reportedly shoplifted about $350 worth of items from Walmart, 1835 E. Main St. She was cited for theft and trespassed from Walmart.

11:44 p.m. An officer observed damage to the men’s restroom at Centennial Park, 800 E. Montezuma Ave. There were no leads or suspects.

Monday, May 2

1:10 p.m. An officer served three people outstanding warrants at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll Street.

3:12 p.m. A man rear-ended a truck was cited for careless driving in the 300 block of West First Street.

4:47 p.m. A man reported that a license plate was stolen off his trailer in the 300 block of South Ash Street. There were no leads, and the man did not want to pursue charges.

6:06 p.m. A woman reported that a window had been broken on her property in the 100 block of North Park Street. There were no leads or suspects.

9:25 p.m. An intoxicated man was taken into custody at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., for violating a protection order banning him from drinking.

Tuesday, May 3

8:49 a.m. A woman was issued a summons for failing to yield to a pedestrian after she cut-off a bicyclist causing her to run into the car in the 300 block of South Maple Street.

2:34 p.m. A man was taken into custody on suspicion of drunken driving in the 100 block of East Downey Avenue after he was reported for swerving and running stop signs.

5:37 p.m. An intoxicated woman was taken into custody for violating a protection order banning her from drinking after she was reportedly involved in a fight in the 200 block of North Park Street.

Wednesday, May 4

7:52 a.m. A woman was issued a summons for careless driving after she collided with a semi truck in the intersection of Main and Maple streets.
