Thursday, April 21

2:06 a.m. A man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant after his neighbor reported him for playing loud music in the 500 block of South Madison Street.

9:47 a.m. A man was cited for running a red light after his vehicle collided with a car in the lower 100 block of North Mildred Road.

10:35 a.m. A woman was transported to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., where she was served a warrant.

11:02 a.m. A woman reported that her daughter’s bicycle was stolen in the 520 block of East Second Street. There were no leads.

11:16 a.m. A woman was arrested and cited for third-degree assault after she reportedly punched a security guard in the face at Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road.

1:55 p.m. A man reported that he ordered $256.90 worth of furniture online and never received it in the 200 block of Pinon Drive. An officer attempted to contact the apparent scammer and then gave the case to detectives.

4:34 p.m. An employee reported that a woman struck her and her boss at Econo Lodge, 2020 E. Main St. The woman was already in custody for an assault that occurred earlier that day. An officer gave her a summons for third-degree assault.

Friday, April 22

10:33 a.m. A man reported that items were stolen from his vehicle in the 300 block of South Ash Street between April 8 and 11.

4:15 p.m. A man drove into Best Western hotel, 535 E. Main St. There were minimal damages, and no charges were pursued.

6:37 p.m. A woman was trespassed from Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., and cited for theft after she reportedly shoplifted $772.43 worth of items.

7:56 p.m. A man was cited for trespassing at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St.

Saturday, April 23

11:01 a.m. A woman reported that a checkbook was stolen from her car in the 1400 block of Montelores Avenue. An officer attempted to contact a person for questioning.

12:41 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St.

1:01 p.m. An officer collected an abandoned bicycle in the 100 block of South Madison Street.

1:58 p.m. A man was arrested for shoplifting after he attempted to steal a sixpack of beer at City Market, 508 E. Main St.

3:43 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after he drove off the side of the road in the 1000 block of South Broadway.

Sunday, April 24

10:07 a.m. A woman reported that a flower holder was stolen from her residence in the lower 100 block of North Maple Street. There were no leads.

1:16 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant in the 100 block of North Market Street.

10:46 p.m. An officer took possession of a stolen rifle at Quality Inn motel, 1120 E. Main St.

Monday, April 25

9:16 a.m. An employee reported that a counterfeit $20 bill was deposited at Four Corners Community Bank, 343 E. Main St., by a manager for Wendy’s restaurant.

10:44 a.m. An officer collected a broken-down tent at Denny Lake Park, 2825 E. Main St., and attempted to return it to its owner.

4:36 p.m. No charges were pursued after a crash in the 1300 block of North Mildred Road.

10:31 p.m. A woman turned herself in at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Tuesday, April 26

12:32 p.m. An intoxicated man reportedly punched a man in the face after demanding to be paid at City Park, 830 E. Main St. The man was taken into custody and cited for attempted robbery and violation of a protection order banning him consuming alcohol. An officer requested that the District Attorney’s Office amend the charges to include third-degree assault.

7:21 p.m. A woman was arrested on a warrant after an employee requested that she be trespassed from Gofer Foods, 2410 Fairway Drive.

Wednesday, April 27

10:46 a.m. An intoxicated man was arrested on a warrant in the 100 block of South Harrison Street. The man also was served an old summons for domestic violence and issued a new summons for violating a protection order banning him from drinking.

11:40 a.m. An intoxicated man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after someone reported that he exposed himself to toddlers at Centennial Park, 800 E. Montezuma Ave.

1:42 p.m. A man was cited for shoplifting at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., after he attempted to leave the store with about $700 of merchandise.

2:25 p.m. A man was cited for trespassing after he was reported for sleeping on a bench outside Cortez Family Dentistry, 115 N. Beech St.

3:42 p.m. An intoxicated man was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 100 block of North Madison Street. He also was cited for violating a protection order banning him from drinking.
