11:30 a.m. Theft of checks, a laptop and an iPad were reported in the 30 block of North Beech Street.

12:01 p.m. A male inmate was served two warrants at Montezuma County Detention Center 730 E. Driscoll St.

3:58 p.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant in the 500 block of East Main Street.

7:34 p.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of bond violations for consuming alcohol after a verbal altercation with a neighbor in the 600 block of East Second Street.

10:13 p.m. A man was arrested on an active warrants in the 20 block of South Harrison Street.

11:06 p.m. A stolen handgun was reported in the 10 block of South Beech Street. It was later returned by a friend who claimed to have taken it as a joke.

Thursday, April 29

1:39 a.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant in the 500 block of East Main Street.

10:54 a.m. A man was arrested on two felony warrants and was cited on suspicion of obstructing an officer, possession of a controlled substance and protection order violation in the 1000 block of South Oak Street.

2:28 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of failure to stop at a stop sign and causing a crash in the 200 block of West Main Street.

3:16 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of turning left in front of traffic and causing a crash in the 1000 block of East Main Street.

4:03 p.m. Credit card fraud was reported in the 600 block of South Washington Street.

Friday, April 30

12:03 a.m. The door of a residence was kicked in in the 200 block of South Elm Street.

9:20 a.m. A man in police custody was served a warrant at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

12:34 p.m. A wallet was reported stolen in the 2300 block of East Main Street.

1:02 p.m. A male inmate was served a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

4:04 p.m. Bank fraud was reported in the 2200 block of East Main Street.

4:26 p.m. A woman was arrested on an active warrant in the 200 block of West Main Street.

5:26 p.m. A man was arrested on seven active warrants and cited on suspicion of obstructing and officer and resisting arrest in the 700 block of South Broadway.

8:30 p.m. A woman was arrested on three active warrants and trespassed from a property in the 1800 block of East Main Street.

10:51 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of protection order violation and driving without a valid license in the 200 block of East Main Street.

Saturday, May 1

4:50 p.m. A dog bite was reported in the 2200 block of Hawkins Street.

10:13 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 1500 block of East Main Street.

Monday, May 3

7:39 a.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of restraining order violation and disorderly conduct in the 600 block of East Montezuma Avenue.

10:02 a.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant in the 600 block of East Main Street.

12:29 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of displaying fictitious plates, driving with a revoked license and failure to provide proof of insurance in the 10 block of South Sligo Street.

2:02 p.m. Several vehicles were broken into in the 200 block of North Broadway.

6:09 p.m. Two people were involved in a vehicle crash in a parking lot in the 1800 block of East Main Street. No citations were issued.

Tuesday, May 4

12:38 a.m. An arrest warrant was requested for a man on suspicion of domestic violence in the 600 block of North Elm Street.

9:08 a.m. A male inmate was served a warrant at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

11:27 p.m. A lost wallet was reported in the 600 block of North Elm Street.

3:03 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of failure to yield the right of way and causing a crash in the 800 block of South Broadway.

5:32 p.m. A man was arrested on five active warrants and was cited on suspicion of resisting arrest, obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1500 block of East Main Street.

Wednesday, May 5

12:36 a.m. A warrant was requested for a woman on suspicion of vehicular eluding, third degree assault, domestic violence, driving under restraint, obstructing an officer, reckless driving, speeding and failure to stop as required in the 1800 block of East Main Street. She allegedly struck a woman multiple times and fled from police.

9:14 a.m. A woman was taken into custody on two active warrants at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

1:22 p.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant in the 400 block of South Broadway.

7:01 p.m. A vehicle was reported as stolen in the 500 block of South Madison Street.
