Wednesday, Feb. 3

1:59 a.m. A warrant was issued for a man on suspicion of domestic violence, third-degree assault, felony menacing and harassment in the 800 block of South Chestnut Street. He allegedly struck a woman with his fists several times.

10:59 a.m. A man was reported for multiple instances of protection order violation in the 1500 block of North Mildred Road.

2:02 p.m. A possible victim in the water was reported in the 400 block of North Mildred Road. Personal items were found. There was no victim in the water.

2:27 p.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant in the 1800 block of East Main Street.

7:23 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of theft in the 200 block of South Sligo Street. Before a tow truck could haul away a car, it was stolen.

Thursday, Feb. 4

8:54 a.m. A man was arrested on multiple warrants in the 1700 block of East Seventh Street.

9:31 a.m. Graffiti using profanities was painted on a building in the 500 block of East Madison Street.

10:17 a.m. A man was cited on suspicion of DUI, reckless driving, driving without a license, failure to provide proof of insurance, failure to drive in a single lane and open containers of alcohol and marijuana in the 1300 block of East Montezuma Avenue.

Friday, Feb. 5

1:54 a.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault on a peace officer, domestic violence, third-degree assault, obstruction, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and under age consumption in the 600 block of South Broadway. A domestic disturbance was reported and the woman struck an officer. A Taser was used to subdue her.

2:35 a.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order in the 600 block of South Broadway.

6:35 a.m. A man was cited on suspicion of failure to observe a traffic control device in the 500 block of West Main Street. The driver allegedly failed to yield at a yellow light, causing a collision with another vehicle.

10:29 a.m. A man was arrested on multiple charges and served three warrants in the area of Cactus Street. He fled the initial traffic stop and led police on a twenty-mile chase before being apprehended.

11:40 a.m. A woman failed to yield to another vehicle at a stop sign and caused a collision in the 300 block of West Empire Street.

11:19 a.m. A summons was issued for a man on suspicion of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct in the 300 block of East Main Street. He became upset that another customer spoke to his wife and kicked a wall.

1:20 a.m. An employee was reported to have stolen items from the store in the 400 block of North State Street. The suspect could not immediately be contacted.

Saturday, Feb. 6

6:38 p.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of protection order violation, harassment and domestic violence in the 500 block of East Main Street. A physical altercation occurred between a man and woman.

7:04 p.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and domestic violence in the 2600 block of East Main Street. She allegedly threw a drink glass at her boyfriend and it hit his head.

10:09 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of second-degree burglary, domestic violence, criminal mischief, protection order violation and violating bond conditions in the 600 block of Wyoming Street. She allegedly broke into a woman’s apartment who had a protection order against her and refused to leave.

Sunday, Feb. 7

5:39 p.m. A man was repeatedly calling the police station and making threats in the 600 block of North Park Street.

8:45 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of violating a protection order in the 600 block of South Broadway.

Monday, Feb. 8

11:23 a.m. Multiple instances of unemployment fraud were reported at a bank in the 300 block of East Main Street.

12:51 p.m. Two inmates were served warrants at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Tuesday, Feb. 9

8:23 a.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of displaying fictitious/stolen plates, aggravated motor vehicle theft, identification theft, distribution of a controlled substance, introduction of contraband, reckless driving, failure to report a crash and criminal mischief in the 1800 block of East Main Street. He lost control of the vehicle and rolled it into a building. Narcotics were found in the vehicle.

12:41 p.m. A vehicle was broken into and items were stolen in the 600 block of South Broadway.

3:06 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of DUI, failure to provide proof of insurance, open containers of alcohol and marijuana, failure to yield the right of way, failure to give information or aid after a crash and failure to notify police of a crash in the 700 block of North Park Street. She allegedly pulled out in front of another vehicle and caused a collision.

10:27 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and domestic violence. He allegedly struck a woman multiple times.
