Monday, Aug. 26

4:23 a.m. A man who allegedly had been screaming and picking a fight at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., was found in the 400 block of E. North St., arrested for being intoxicated in the roadway, and left in the custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Tuesday, Sept. 3

11:46 a.m. A motorhome driver hit a pole in the 900 block of Main Street. An officer filed a report but issued no citation. Only the motorhome was damaged.

12:13 p.m. A woman was cited for having dogs at large after a report of loose dogs in the 1300 block of Acoma Street.

4:39 p.m. An officer on foot patrol in the 800 block of Main Street arrested a woman on active warrant and cited her for possessing an open container of alcohol. She was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Wednesday, Sept. 4

12:55 a.m. A man was handcuffed and arrested on suspicion of harassment after a report of a fight in the 500 block of South Madison Street. He was medically cleared at Southwest Memorial Hospital because of intoxication, then was left in the custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

1:24 p.m. About $150 in damage to a door frame was reported at Sonny’s Appliance, 255 N. Broadway.

Thursday, Sept. 5

10:51 a.m. A driver was cited for unsafe backing after allegedly hitting a Harley-Davidson trike at the Y intersection of South Broadway and West Main Street. The van apparently had moved in reverse while attempting to make a left turn.

11:59 a.m. Two men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct in the 800 block of East Main Street after a report of a fight. They were left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center. The other woman was issued a summons.

8:02 a.m. A man was stopped in the 400 block of North Street after allegedly driving 49 mph in a 35 mph zone on East Main Street near Henry Street. He was cited for failing to provide proof of insurance, arrested on three active warrants and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Friday, Sept. 6

8:05 a.m. A vehicle drove through a front yard in the 800 block of Arbor Street, causing property damage. The vehicle was not found.

4:25 p.m. A driver was cited for unsafe backing after a collision in the City Market parking lot, 508 E. Main St. The victim followed the driver to a residence in the 800 block of South Cedar Street, where an officer issued a summons to the driver. Both drivers had valid insurance.

Saturday, Sept. 7

3:15 p.m. An officer responded to EST Fashion and Crafts about a shoplifting incident and filed a report.

Sunday, Sept. 8

5:16 p.m. A man was arrested for trespass and an active warrant after reportedly urinating on a wall outside Mountain Chiropractic, 1933 E. Main St. He was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

7:51 p.m. A man was arrested in the 600 block of North Park Street for being intoxicated in a roadway. He was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Monday, Sept. 9

2:51 p.m. An officer who was dispatched to the 200 block of South Ash Street arrested an intoxicated man on an active warrant and left him in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Tuesday, Sept 10

8:11 p.m. A woman was arrested on violation of a protection order, harassment and domestic violence after allegedly fighting with another woman in the 600 block of East Fourth Street. She was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.
