5:40 p.m. A woman reported a missing .45 caliber handgun.

6:09 p.m. Police responded to Walmart after two juveniles failed to pay for food and drinks consumed inside the store. Both were ticketed for shoplifting and issued trespass notices before being released to a guardian.

7:58 p.m. Police responded to Walmart after a woman fled the scene in a failed shoplifting attempt of four spray paint cans. The woman was arrested and charged with shoplifting and issued a trespass notice.

8:22 p.m. Police found two men drinking at City Park. Both were ticketed for open container and alcohol possession.

11:45 p.m. Police found a man urinating in City Park. He was ticketed for disturbing the peace.

1:45 p.m. Police found a man drinking in City Park. He was ticketed for open container and alcohol possession.

2:49 p.m. Police responded to a residence on the 400 block of South Chestnut Street. A man was ticketed for trespass after spitting tobacco on a neighbor’s home.

3:04 p.m. Police responded to the Colorado Welcome Center on a public urination call. A man was ticketed for disturbing the peace and issued a trespass notice.

6:26 p.m. Police responded to an unresponsive male at the public library. After receiving medical treatment, the man was arrested and charged with violating no alcohol orders.

10:27 p.m. Police responded to the 600 block of North Mildred Road for a pedestrian in the roadway. A man was arrested and charged with violating no alcohol orders.

Friday, July 31

1:08 p.m. Police responded to Walgreen’s on a shoplifting call. A man reportedly stole a basket of grocery items and fled the scene.

4:10 p.m. Police responded to West Slope Liquors for a possible stabbing. Cut on his nose with a pocketknife, the victim refused medical treatment and left the scene. Another man was arrested and charged with assault and menacing.

7:49 p.m. On patrol along the 100 block of Adams Street, police stopped a motorist for driving with a cracked windshield and busted taillight. The driver was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to yield right-of-way.

Saturday, Aug. 1

1:37 a.m. Police responded to a residence on the 1000 block of Livesay Drive for a man banging on a door. A man was arrested and charged with trespass.

4:52 p.m. Police responded to Walmart for a failed shoplifting attempt. A man fled the scene after he reportedly tried to steal a Bluetooth ear piece valued at $30. The subject returned to the store a short time later with friends. He was arrested and charged for shoplifting and issued a trespass notice after police found him hiding in the parking lot.

Sunday, Aug. 2

11:24 a.m. A man reported that his prescription pills were stolen from his unlocked vehicle along the 700 block of Detroit Avenue.

Monday, Aug. 3

9:17 a.m. Police responded to the Community Connections Center for a stolen bicycle.

9 p.m. Police responded to the public library for an assault. The victim suffered a swollen lip and cut on his eyebrow after being punched and kicked in the face. An arrest warrant was issued.

10:42 p.m. Police responded to the National Nine Inn on a disturbance call. After receiving medical treatment, one woman was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace and resisting arrest. Another woman was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace.

Tuesday, Aug. 4

4:38 p.m. Police responded to City Park on a public intoxication call. A woman was arrested for violating bond conditions.
