Sunday, May 13

10:01 p.m.: A man was arrested at City Market, 508 E. Main St., on suspicion of criminal impersonation and resisting arrest after employees reported a shirtless man was screaming at people. The man gave police the name of a man who had bond conditions prohibiting him from drinking alcohol, so he was arrested on suspicion of violating bond conditions. He reportedly resisted efforts to handcuff him, and two officers tackled him and shot him with a stun gun several times. He was medically cleared due to intoxication and the stun gun. At the jail, officers found he had given them a wrong name, and charged him with criminal impersonation instead of the bond violation.

Monday, May 14

1:12 a.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of violating bond conditions outside Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1320 N. Mildred Road, after police found him lying on the sidewalk. He reportedly said he was on his way to the hospital to see a loved one in intensive care. He was medically cleared due to intoxication.

11:40 a.m.: A man in the 900 block of North Edith Street reported a vehicle tire appeared to have been stabbed at night. The case is under investigation.

1:29 p.m.: A woman was arrested at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., on a warrant for identity theft.

4:12 p.m.: Two men were arrested in City Park, 802 E. Main St., after being found them unconscious. One was arrested on suspicion of violating bond conditions; the other, arrested on a municipal warrant for failure to appear. Both were medically cleared due to intoxication.

6:11 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 200 block of East Seventh Street on suspicion of violating a protection order a report of a fight between him and the woman who had the order. Both said they were just having a verbal argument.

11:21 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 10 block of North Park Street on suspicion of first-degree criminal trespass after another man reported he had entered his house uninvited. He was medically cleared due to intoxication.

Tuesday, May 15

10:36 p.m.: A man was arrested in City Park, 802 E. Main St., on suspicion of violating bond conditions, an open container violation and possession of alcohol in the park. On the way to Southwest Memorial Hospital for a medical clearance, he reportedly threatened the arresting officer, saying he “would not live through the week.”
