Sunday, March 19

10:12 a.m.: A man was arrested outside Moore’s Thrift Store, 804 S. Broadway, on a Colorado Department of Corrections warrant for a parole violation.

10:48 a.m.: Three men were issued summonses in Centennial Park, 800 E. Montezuma Ave., on suspicion of open container violations and consumption of alcohol in the park.

8:09 p.m.: An employee at Hawkins Preserve reported damage to a sign, possibly caused by someone throwing a rock. The damage was estimated at $200. The case remains under investigation.

Monday, March 20

9:17 a.m.: A man was cited in the 600 block of Colfax Avenue on suspicion of not having the required city dog license, failing to maintain an animal that disturbs the peace and a dog at large violation. A neighbor reported the dog had rushed at him and his daughter, scaring them, and that this had happened several times before.

1:25 p.m.: A woman was arrested in the 2800 block of East Main Street on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, weaving and unsafe backing after she backed into the responding officer’s patrol vehicle during a traffic stop.

3:48 p.m.: A woman was arrested in the 700 block of West Fifth Street on suspicion of third-degree assault and domestic violence after witnesses reported she had punched her boyfriend in the face when he told her to stop yelling at another woman and her daughter.

7:49 p.m.: A man was arrested in City Park, 802 E. Main St., on suspicion of violating a protection order.

8:20 p.m.: A man was issued a summons in the 1100 block of South Market Street on suspicion of disturbing the peace after a neighbor complained that his music was too loud and contained profanity they didn’t want their children to hear.

Tuesday, March 21

2:41 a.m.: A man was arrested in the 500 block of North Elm Street on suspicion of DUID, second-degree introduction of contraband, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to present proof of insurance and driving with vision obstructed. A used hypodermic needle was found in the man’s pocket, and a small jar of marijuana and two burnt marijuana cigarettes were found in his vehicle.

10:27 a.m.: A man was issued a summons in City Park, 802 E. Main St., on suspicion of an open container violation and possession of alcohol in the park.

11:23 a.m.: A man was served with a warrant for failure to appear at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

12:29 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 1400 block of North Mildred Road on suspicion of trespassing at a residence.

9 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 10 block of South Ash Street on a warrant for failure to appear and on suspicion of driving under suspension.
