The letter to the editor (Journal, Sept. 10) by several signees, calling for the cancellation of the Rocky Mountain Gun Owners event at the Lewis Arriola Community Center, made me think of the apropos John Cleese quote: “There are people sitting there who are deliberately waiting for the thrill of being offended. They want to be offended because it gives them a sense of moral superiority.”
