4-year-old child was missing since Wednesday
A missing girl from La Plata County was found safe Thursday afternoon.
A missing girl from La Plata County was found safe Thursday afternoon, according to the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities issued a missing person alert for 4-year-old Sparrow Sow, who also goes by the name Sparrow Lewis, early Thursday morning. She was reportedly last seen Wednesday afternoon in La Plata County.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said the girl was possibly with Michelle Lewis and traveling in a 1994 light-blue Toyota Corolla.
La Plata County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Chris Burke said he did not have further information when reached Thursday.
