12:34 p.m. Mancos Marshal’s Deputy Angelita Topaha received a report of criminal mischief at the Mancos High School football field. The suspect was issued a summons for criminal mischief to the fence.

Friday, April 17

6:59 p.m. Mancos Marshal’s Deputy Jared Farnsworth observed a vehicle on U.S. Highway 160 driving west at a high rate of speed, make an abrupt U-turn and accelerate eastbound on U.S. 160, in Mancos. The vehicle matched the description of a Reddi call. The driver was arrested for careless driving, weaving, an open container of marijuana, driving under the influence, and driving under the influence of drugs.

Saturday, April 18

10:41 p.m. Deputy Farnsworth observed a westbound vehicle on U.S. Highway 160 in Montezuma County that was weaving within the lane at varying speeds, and he stopped the driver on suspicion of DUI. The driver was released with a warning, but a passenger in the vehicle was found to have a protection order violation and was arrested. While being transported by Farnsworth, the passenger committed several other crimes, including two counts of second-degree assault on an officer.
