12:08 p.m., Sgt. Ray responded to a reported theft of a table at Menefee Apartments. The table was taken sometime during the night. There were no suspects.

Time not specified, A suspect was cited on suspicion of criminal possession of a forged instrument at P&D Grocery Store. Deputy Topaha responded to an individual attempting to make purchases with a counterfeit bill. The suspect was identified.

Saturday, July 18

9:18 a.m., A family disturbance with a report of possible felony menacing was reported near Second Street and South Mesa Avenue. Sgt. Ray heard some yelling and contacted all subjects. After the investigation was completed, no charges were sought.

Wednesday, July 22

6: 32 p.m., A suspect was cited on suspicion of an open container of alcohol in the area of Main Street and Grand Avenue. Deputy Marshal Farnsworth stopped a vehicle for failure to stop at the stop sign. The driver was found to not be impaired.

Saturday, July 25

8:37 p.m., A man was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order at Cox Conoco. Deputy Topaha completed a welfare check on a man. The man was taken into custody and transported to the Montezuma County Jail where he was booked in for violation of protection order.
